Somebodies dad must have been a Grady Wade fan. I see a young person in OKC is named Grady Wade. What are the chances of that?
He is 2nd in points at I-44 Riverside Speedway in OKC in non-wing minisprint class and 4th in the A-class. It looks like he might half two or three borthers or family that run the classes also. Heck he could be a grandson or great grandson??? If so the genes passed right on to him in the non wing class. I'll bet somone will know or find out. I have a friend here in McPherson His name is Grady Wade Cooper and his dad was a Grady Wade fan. I just happen on to him when he followed me home and ask me about my Racing From The Past sticker on the back of my Ranger. His dad runs Cooper Wielding and use to go to all the races in the day. His wielding truck was always at the Hutch Nationals and the other tracks kind of like a McVicker Repair and his blue Dodge wrecker from McPherson, KS

I named my son after Grady. My son's name is Grady Wade Tunks.

I'm the Grady Wade that races at I-44 speedway. I was indeed named after the Kansas driver Grady Wade. My dad was a fan back in the NCRA days when Grady would come to OKC to race. We aren't related that we know of but I have met and spent time with Grady at a few Chili Bowls through the years.
