40 years later: From L to R: Jim Van Lare, Sr. (son Jim Van Lare is still very involved race wise being a sprint car driver and owner of Van Lare Steering Repair, whose VSR can be seen on multiple sprint cars in the Northern California area), Joe Hardina (grandson Marcus races a sprint car around the area), Ron Carlson (owns a Sprint Car), driver Bobby Johnson (owns Johnny Franklin Mufflers, and grandson races sprint cars), Bob Consani (Sprint Car, midget, super modified owner, etc.), unknown. The racing circle keeps coming back to the same people. You can do this for any number of Sprint Car teams around the states. Racing families still racing after all these years.
