When I came past you I was wondering about what it was in front of me. You did a good job handeling the car. Also where did you get the picture?

Looks like one last check with that hammer might of done the trick.

Looks like a good picture for a caption contest.

"You picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel." The devil made me say that.

Wow, bet that driver is really upset with his crewchief. Wait-they're the same person.

My 3rd time of driving a 305 sprint a few years back i was trying to win my heat running 2nd ...I was flat on the floor coaked sideways sitting up for turn one to get a line on the leader..My left rear desided to leave me,, a brief moment of it trying to come in the coakpit with me it went on its marry way hitting my left front .It jumped 20ft in the air and then took a bounce and went out of my sight....later they said it cleared the fence around one and two turn at about 40 to 50 ft..then it hit the exit road and took another bounce and went into the parking lot playing pinball on the cars parked out there..They found it about a block away..

I am glad it didint come off when i was coming out of turn 4 because it would have landed in the stands with all the people. When i got to the pits my car owner was chewing butt on the crew chief,,,,.after that there was always a last smack with the hammer to make sure it was tight..

So what your pretty wheel gets a mark on it ,,,,,,,better to marked up a wheel and not have a fan wearing the darn thing.

Win as if you are use to it.And lose as if you enjoyed
it for a change. Its hard to get to the top and alot
harder to stay there.

Well, having been accused by an ex-wife that I had a dual personality syndrome, I COULD take the luxury of blaming it on my crewchief couldn't I?

I honestly didn't notice the lean on the right front at the time. I did notice the popping sound at low speed, but nothing seemed odd.

It shows here
