I was wondering if there were any vintage racing events on any track schedules in the greater OK-North Texas area. I would like to plan my work on the car around a couple of events.
Thanks for any leads,
Dan

I was wondering too. Quite a few people are, actually.
My understanding was that "Vintage Texas Open Wheel" took over the reins by hooking up with the Wichita Falls guys.

I am looking into something special this summer for OkC, but I have to have the schedules for Kansas and N Texas before I can pursue it.
This time it is with a different group that understands quite a bit more of what this thing is about.
It is "not" affiliated with the new track planned by the airport, nor does it have anything to with the city council, or fairgrounds. It is a fresh start.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some information about the Lloyd Ruby Memorial Day at Texoma on May 1st. It mentions vintage racing. What are the rules? is it exhibition or racing?
Thanks,
Dan

Exhibition, meaning just go out there and have some fun, don't hit anybody or drive like a madman (like I did last October!).

Has anybody said anything about any other dates out there? It's April now.

It sounds like fun. I will make sure I get my car there.
Thanks, Dan
