Sorry And I will probably get some flack on here but I just can't keep reading some of these articles, posts, tweets etc.

spencer nice kid like him . But what is the huge story about his win in the swindell car. Can someone please fill me in what I have missed. I understand Kevin's Accident and his journey and hard work and I admire that.  That's not what the Win is about But what is the huge deal. Not trying to be a heartless person here. Spencer comes from a bit of money has been driving for sometime and is probably spending great money with KEITH K program  to get to the next level as did Tanner T and Rico is this the gateway of getting to the level of NASCAR Do you have to go with these teams pay for rides and belong to these agents to actually be the next big team . I see Abreau vineyards popping up on cars are they too going to become one of the recruiting teams. I can say I have watched Tanner race 410 and not get anywhere. But now he's in the Program what to get to NASCAR, and is Spencer gonna be the next one with the funding

Take Great talent like Kinser Sammy, Donny, Wolfgang, , Clauson..and now Gravel . Do these guys not have enough to go to the next level . Do you need these programs and agents to buy the best rides for the Chili Bowl and USAC  to make it somewhere or can you actually earn it?

It all about marketing. You mentioned, in order, Kinser. At Indy he ran great, was moving threw the field picking cars off 1 by 1. Running 6,7,or 8 he got caught up in a wreck and ended his run. He could drive Indy cars on ovals. Nobody looked at him after that. Sammy, A few Indy car rides, 2nd team cars that didn't have the speed to get to run up front. Never looked at again. Wolfie, he came from the cut, ORIGINAL OUTLAW, he was a dirt racer. BC, one of the best talents out there, period. Besides driving talent in today's racing if you have the marketing talent teams want you. I love watching Rico wheel a dirt car. That truck deal, he was just another guy/driver that couldn't get it done. Do you think $$$ got him that truck deal ? I do, and they went back to what they do best, wheel a dirt car.

Talent is secondary in big time racing, it's all about the mighty sponsorship dollar and who's "marketable" enough to attract it to them.  Look no further than Danica Patrick for your biggest example of this.

The days of showing up with your helmet and racing are pretty much gone. They are not looking at sprint cars for Nascar or Indy cars dirvers.Amazingly the Legends car have had a few come out of that program and the ARCA series seems to be a place to start.Blaney and Elliot had an in and are proving to be two of the best young drivers.Kyle Larsen and Bell are the exception because of their talent in different venues..Being a minority seems to help too.But money with some talent seem to help some at least get their foot in the door. The drivers of today know how to talk and promote their product something many drivers lack.
