Numerous studies have been conducted that show "brand loyalty" and "brand recognition" are both high when it comes to the average Nascar Fan.  That's not news.  One could deduce that the same brand loyalty and brand recognition could be transferred to the average local dirt track racing fan.

So the questions is: Do you actiavely support sponsors local, regional and national that make a concerted effort to support Sprint Car Racing (through tracks, drivers, events, etc.)?

Absolutely! As a sponsor of the NSL ourselves we understand the importance of supporting other sponsors involved with sprint car racing (not just NSL sponsors). And when we buy their products we let them know that the reason we do business with them is because of their sponsorship. It's important that sponsors know this because they will be more likely to stay involved if they know it is an effective way to reach customers and that there is some return.

Agreed...we do the same.  Sponsor a local Sprint Car Driver and a major sponsor of our local dirt track.  Brand awareness partnerships that we see as an effective use of capital to reach and retain a passionate and loyal fanbase...our customers.  And we like to hear from customers and other sponsors (as you note) that support us because of said sponsorships.  Anecdotal, yes, but feedback nonetheless.

As such here's an interesting look at "brand loyalty" among Nascar fans.

Yes, whenever possible. And I let them know I'm there because of their involvement in sprint car racing.

Caseys for sure but there isnt much selection other than Caseys in Oskaloosa. (Doesnt bother me)

MB2 raceway in Des Moines/Grimes area asked where I heard of them when creating my profile there for the first race and I made sure to put Knoxville Raceway in the other category in hope to keep money rolling both to Knoxville and from Knoxville fans to MB2.

I also try to go to Haines Auto Supply to support former racecar driver Jeff Haines when buying car parts/oil/filters/etc.

Thats just to name a quick few. I'd say there are some brand loyal fans in sprint car racing. Especially on this message board I am sure.

Most definitely. There's not a lot of sprint car sponsored choices in my area, but when I do have the choice, I go with the sprint car sponsored business or item. When I leave work, I drive by three other convenience stores to get to Casey's. I still carry Channellock pliers, use Quaker State oil, Lucas additives, and etc.

Yes, I buy all my gas at Casey's because they support Sprint Car Racing so much!!!

Went to Buffalo Wild Wings a few weeks ago because we don't have one near us and they sponsor Dusty Zomer.... Will go back whenever I see one....

Use Lucas Oil Products all the time also....

I make an effort to support those who support racing.  No matter how big or small. I especially make sure I support local businesses that support my home track or local drivers. If it is a local business I always tell them I appreciate them sponsoring racing and that's why I choose to support them. That was it might help if they are considering whether or not to continue.

The other day I bought a bottle of Mean Green because it had Brady Bacon in the bottle and I thought that was awesome.

I am going to make more of an effort to continue to do this. Makes me feel like I'm doing my part to help out. Smile

PS I don't support Great Clips because I cut my own hair. Haha

Caseys for sure because they sponsor so many locals at Knoxville plus Brian Brown. I just wish there were more sponsors located in central Missouri. Great thread. Plus I like to buy t-shirts from the local drivers to at least try and help them out a little.

I try to make a concious effort to support those that support sprint car racing, yes!  It is not my only driving force for where I buy products, but if possible, yes I support them.

I go out of my way to support those who have supported sprint car racing in any role past or present whether it be a series sponsor, team sponsor or whatever else. Even if it costs me more money, I'll always give the nod to those who support sprint car racing. In my opinion, its the least I could do.

That is the first thing I look for. Hercules tires, Great Clips, Valvoline, Razorback shovel, Snow Dominator, GoPro (was not the best option), and I bought a big game tree stand. Could have saved a couple bucks elsewhere but elsewhere does not have a logo on a wing.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
