This is NOT rumor. There's an Eviction Notice on the gates to the property at USA Raceway. Does anybody seem to know if the Sprint Car venue for Nov 19th-21st has been cancelled?? If so, where are those three races going to be held somewhere else? Are they even going to be held at all? I'm sure race fans wanting to make travel plans would greatly appreciate any insight on this . . . not to mention the race teams. As the Great Howard Cosell once said when he missed the train to Baltimore " Who Goofed, I've Got To Know??"

It's interesting to see that the USA Raceway website is still advertising the event(s) along with ticket sales. I guess time will tell.

Ok, I'm getting 2 stories. 1 that USAC is evicted from Tuscon, that the eviction notice isn't legal and other stuff. Then I read this and I am back to wondering. Whoever took the original picture of the notice, when did you take the picture of the notice and can you go by the track to see if its still there? That way those of us who like to make plans and have hotel rooms know if we go on or cancel our Tuscon plans. Thanks.

Well NC June, I just visited the USA Raceway website and under "Media" discovered that KM posted on 9-29-15 that the peoples champ is coming to town for the Western World. The date on the Eviction Notice is 10-1-15. . . Perhaps both KM and the peoples champ know more than the rest of us do. Until KM or someone from USAC comes forward and tells us all what is going on, I would suggest the peoples champ tell his crew to sharpen their bolt cutters if they want to race. In the interest of ALL Sprint Car Fans, I'll be sending my dog Snurdley out to the track tomorrow to find out if the Notices have disappeared. This is unbelievable . . . .

be nice for clarification from track or even USAC, its not cheap for teams or even fans to travel to events when traveling is involved.

So do i order tickets on line. Or do I get them at the gate. Has anybody heard that this show is a go or not ? Sure would be nice to know. So I can order good seats.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

We certainly appreciate your concern Dirtface and now you know why the rest of us are in such a quandry. I called the phone number for the Landlord listed on the Eviction Notice that is posted on the gates and left a message that we have a Sprint Car Team in So. Calif and would like to know whether or not we need to make plans for the trip to Tucson to compete in the Western World Finals in November. You gussed it . . . NO return call. At this point, I would highly recommend you buy your tix at the gate (If it's NOT Locked).

Was at the track working to get ready for Western World today. All rents were paid as requested and when requested! If you look at the notice, there is nothing from Pima County or from the Pima County Sheriff (which is the only legal way to post an eviction notice). Western World Championships are in full swing. If you feel more comfortable buying tickets at the gate, go for it. I dont think anyone on here can ever say that I didnt do what I said I would. But if anyone feels more comfortable, they can call Pima County and see if ANY type of eviction was EVER filed. 520-724-3171
