Does anyone know if Ventura Raceway allows overnight parking in their lot for this event? I will be traveling in an RV from AZ. Don't need any hookups, just don't want to be forced to hit the road at 10:00 P.M.

I think not at the fairgrounds. There are RV and Camping areas very near to the track.
Call the office: (805) 985 5433
They will be able to tell you and might actually be able to point you at somewhere to camp.

I called the track this morning, and they confirmed that they clear out the lot after the races, and do not allow overnight parking. The State Beach camping area down the road shows to be full for that date on their website. The private RV resort which looks like about a 20 minute walk wants $78 - $105 per night (off-season rates), and has terrible reviews. I'm not going to pay that kind of coin when I won't be using any "amenities." Even the Walmart in Ventura and Oxnard don't permit overnight RV parking. Oh, well.....I tried!

Thanks for the advice, Roy. I did take the RV, and cleared the "overnighter" with security at the track after the races.
