Brady Bacon and the Hoffman Auto Racing team came into 2015 looking to defend their USAC National Sprint Car Championship. Following this past weekend, the team has serious momentum heading into the meat and potatoes of the USAC schedule. On Saturday night, Bacon piloted the Hoffman Auto Racing #69 XXX to the win at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana, sweeping through the night in a dominant fashion.

"We have a brand new XXX chassis that we wanted to try at the home track before taking it out on the USAC schedule, and coming off our race at Lawrenceburg the previous weekend, we felt like this would give us a great apples to apples comparison as we shook down the new car," said Brady. "All night long, it felt like the car just got better and better. It was really smooth in the main event." Bacon was the fastest car in hot laps, won his heat race from the second row and easily wired the field in the main event, leading every lap. At times, the Broken Arrow, OK native had as much as a half track advantage over the nearest competitor.
