with 1 event left has a 78 point lead over second place T. Chapman. If I recall you get 75 points for just showin up at ascs races. the most you can score at an ascs race is 150 points. So it sems if Natalie Sather just shows up to the last ASCS Midwest race in Cameron, MO she will be the new ASCS Midwest Region Champion.
quite an improvement in the last few years. Quite an accomplishment to match. if all goes well.......congratulations.

Wouldn't he get the show up points also? If so, the spread will still be 78 points.

That is correct, so that means if they both show, and if the most possible points you can get is 150, he can only gain 75 max...... she is 78 ahead........get it?
Congratulations Natalie.

Provided she takes a competitive green flag of course. If she were to break in hot laps and scratch for the night, only 60 points. An unlikely occurrence, especially with Kenny Woodruff as crew chief. Yet it still offers the slightest glimmer of hope for Chapman.

Oh good for her she still has yet to win a show or run up front in the "A" with top cars in it. Get over her she has yet to prove she can run with the big dogs. The 410 dogs as in WoO and All Stars big leagues not the farm league. I get so sick of hereing about how good she is. Get off the porch and run with the big dogs.

I guarantass tee ya one thing, if I had a chance to take the title anyway, I would. In this sport, little dogs become big dogs and big dogs become old dogs.

Running with the big dogs? She has done quite well this season. She held off Chuck Swenson and Gary Wright back in early spring at OKC. They are pretty "BIG DOGS" as someone proclaims she needs to run with to prove herself. Those two are "BIG DOGS" in my book. She hasn't torn up a lot of cars this year. She has been consistent this year.
Last time I checked she was still a girl, running in a male dominated sport, and she has held her own quite well. She will win a "FEATURE" someday.
WHY ARE WE HERE? BECAUSE WE'RE HERE. ROLL THE BONES.-

so i guess volusia in Feb with outlaws and allstars and knoxville nationals is not considered getting off the porch nor running with the big dogs

Eric Crocker also got beat down for years. Even though she actually won a WoO A main (albeit a prelim) against the best in the biz.
Apparently, some people just have issues with a driver who lacks a twig and berries doing well amonst those who have them...

Crocker was the only one left with a RR that held air! although , some women have "held thier own " (pardon the pun) in this sport, they have wrecked just as much if not more as some of the boys JMO, never the less , congrats to the 94s, sometimes just showing up is a battle.

Seems to me that keeping air in the right rear is just about as important as how far down you press the gas pedal, or should I say methanol?

at least shes out there and having fun doing it. she'll continue to get better the more she races. you dont see her bitch after every race like danica patrick do you? as long as shes having fun it doesnt matter. she must of done at least a decent job to compete for the ascs midwest title.

Erin also had the next night wrapped up until she blew a tire, all she did that night was out-gun Steve Kinser.

hey fellow Cub fan.................they're finally in 1st!!!!!!
but being a cubs fan is even harder than a red sox fan.........eternal pessimism. they will probably blow it. but I hope not. I hope they make the playoffs and then beat the crap iut of their old arch-rivals the Padres.
as far as Natalie Sather. She still ain't that good. But in the midwest tegion she just grinded it out and finished features. she was consistent. much more consistent than Chapman (I apologize I'm not at all tryin to knock against chapman). I think that shows maturity to not take a chance tearin people up for 1 more spot.........let the other guys do that. she may never finish higher than 10th, but if guys who win some races crash out a lot as well and average 11th place finish.......maturity. And it helps she's hot as hell too. But anyway anytime I've seen her at the track she does look a hell of a lot more focused and seems to be trying everything in her power to improve. I don't think she has the natural talent and is still in the middle of a learning curve so she has to work harder for top 10 finished than probably anyone else.
