That's the business model of the BWW 82 now. They rotate drivers in and out based on availability. I like it, because it gives good drivers a chance to have a seat for a weekend or two in pretty good equipment. It makes for some interesting combos.

Doesn't seem that way. They just like to rotate drivers in and out it seems. After Henderson left, Lucas Wolfe took over the ride, but when that didn't work out, they started hiring freelancers.

Thanks for that answer , because usually it means that owners of a car are difficult to drive for , as there are a few of those around . Thanks to WoO its a different world now as its all about MONEY NOT THE FUN OF RACING , as use to be .

Im younger but i am pretty sure 30 years ago, all of those guys were racing and it was fun, but the bottom line is they were chasing money hence where the outlaws got their name.

Atleast 9 different drivers in less than 2 years. Not the way I would run my team. They should have kept Henderson, or Sowold.

I seriously do not get the love for Solwold. He has had some nice runs awhile back but did not really shine in the car last year.
I talked to Amy Swindell at Salina, I asked her if Kevin would be in the car for the Nationals. She said that BWW guys were trying to get him to commit to it but he is keeping his options open for the Nationwide series.

Solwold did great in the car. Henderson did great in the car also.
Have heard the crew chief is amost impossible to work with. He thinks that he is the next coming of Karl Kinser.

Not sure why everyone is making a big deal as the team owners said they were not sticking with one driver. As others said I also like the concept. Get to different guys get a shot and based on availability they brought drivers back for more races.
If you don't like it get you check book out and start your own team and hire whoever you want.
We should support any car owner who is willing to put a car on the track. Can't wait to see Clausen back behind the wheel of th BWW #82!

Cracks me up how people complaine about the cost of touring with the WoO. It is the top series. It is not supposed to be for the casual weekend racer. If there is any flaw, it is the lack of increase in payout.
WoO still has the largest group of travelers. These drivers are competitive racers. This is not just about "having fun". Fun for these guys is going up against the best and winning. That is their fun!!
And by the way, for all of you regional fans who love to bash the WoO drivers, the touring drivers typically beat the locals. Numbers dont lie. Give them some respect. The great thing is that there are parts of this country where the locals can beat the touring guys and that is really fun to watch, I know I love the drama when the WoO pulls into the Grove. Great racing that only gets better when the touring guys show up.
The great thing about this sport is that if you are on a budget or are out just "to have fun", there are plenty of options for you. 305's, Micro & Mini Sprints. Have fun!
The other great thing about this sport is that the traveling teams come to your track. If you have the equipment, you get to race against the best there is. No one is saying that you have to go on tour. This really is an amazing thing that we sometimes overlook. Can you imagin showing up at Monza and asking if you can try and qualify for the F1 grid. Never happen.
Our sport provides the best drivers with a traveling venue and allows the rest of us to participate as we can afford it.
Sounds pretty good to me.

I cringe every time I see something related to the BWW 82 on this board. Open shot time at the crew chief/owner/team mascot. Maybe the mods should keep one open thread to bash the BWW 82, cheer on Larson, bitch about Larson, spread rumors about TK, bash Swindell and conduct the CA-PA smackdown.
That being said, Cap tried a slider or something at Eagle in the 360 feature and took out the leader. It was an ill-advised move but he was able to hold on to 2nd. Did he put it in the fence Saturday at K-ville?

And yes, I'll stay out of future BWW threads so I don't have to read the bitching.

At Eagle, I believe both cars had two working pedals. If you don't want to get crashed, you tap on the brake pedal and dive under the one doing the slider. You see it all the time. This time Boston kept his foot in it and took a hard ride.

I was impressed with Henry at Eagle. I believe that was his first time there and to run as well as he did was impressive. I have to admit that was a pretty ill advised slider, but people make mistakes! As impressed as I was with him at Eagle I was equally disappointed in how he ran at Knoxville. For finishing 10th at the Nationals I thought he would have been much bettter.
