Is it just me or is it time to expand the funds on these events? The Kings Royal already draws the crowd. I would like to see $20,000 to win for the Doty on Wednesday and (at the minimum) see the Royal step up to $75,000 to win on Saturday night!

yes on the royal for sure, up the purse period to draw more cars like Knoxville gets even though it won't but the royal is way overdue for a raise,

Pay some more on the back end of the Kings Royal and you'll get some more cars. $4,000 or $5,000 to start the feature, and some more cash for the non-transfers in the C & B mains might get some guys off the porch.
Easy for me to say though, it's not my money.

Yes on the Royal, Eldora makes a killing on both shows.
Limaland doesn't seat as many as you'd think, so unless Doty gets sponsorship, it would be tough to raise the purse too much.

I would not mind seeing them increase the up front money for the top three positions at the Kings Royal. If they increase the back end pay too much the car count would increase to the point that this race could no longer be a single day show. Everyone always seems to forget that The Kings Royal is a single day show and 40 - 50 cars like they normally get is about the maximum that you can squeeze into a single day deal.

I would ilke to see Thursday added to the Doty Classic making it a double header. Then maybe a point fund for the 4 races. No racing on Thursday right now is no fun!

I have to miss the Kings Royal this year due to vacation conflicts. First year in many I will miss. Not Happy!!!

tinker with it too much,ticket prices go up,tony has been holding prices down.

50 grand is still one of the top paydays anywhere. And to have this race paying it for as long as it has is pretty cool.
