What a bone head move by Brown! Talk about a slide job gone bad. Browns right rear hit behind Martins left rear. He was not any were near close to clearing him. What was he thinking if only he woulda been patient him and Martin both woulda been in the top couple rows of Saturdays A-Main. Somebody needs to teach Brown a lesson on how to drive and how to drive clean. Good luck to Randy Martin on getting revenge!

Brown had been cutting things close the whole race. Guess it was no big deal as everybody kinda was. Definitely the best A Main I've seen this year anywhere. But Brown slid up on him in that whole stop or you're gonna get hit kinda way. Martin didn't have anywhere to go as instead of sliding him Brown just nailed him sending Martin high into the wall. That crowd was pissed. I don't know who they find to not like at the 410 nationals every year but Brian Brown has the title this year at the 360's. What a dumbass. Lot of people standing around his trailer in dead silence. I think the silence was due to security.
That guy is gonna hear it BIG TIME come saturday night. I haven't seen as many races as most of you.........but that was the worst race move I ever saw. The punk has no care for other peoples safety #1 or their equipment#2.

It wasn't even a slide job! This guy is a complete idiot to think he was going to complete this pass. He has no respect for any other drivers out there and definitely not for Randy Martin. I for one hope to be there when Randy Martin and Randy Anderson teach him some respect. We all should boycott all his sponsors and anything that Brian Brown has to do with! To be associated with this bonehead is the dumbest thing and the biggest liability any sponsor could get themselves into. You are a direct reflection of the person that you pay to endorse your product. I for one will never support him or anything or one that he is associated with! Knoxville raceway should be the first to say enough is enough. Is this really the kind of champion you want to represent your racetrack?

Classic Brian Brown. You people act like your surprised by him doing this. He's been doing it all year, go ask his other victims how it feels. Randy Martin is just another notch on his belt of sliders-gone-wrong tour of 2007.

I don't get to see Brian drive, but at the Nationals back in 04 Lucas Wolfe was in great shape to make the A on Wednesday until Brown decided to drive him into the frontstrecth fence in their heat race. =

brown has been driving like this for the last couple of years - maybe its time the Knoxville Officials did something, like tell him not to come back or at least set him down for a couple of point show weeks.
If the Officials don't want to do anything maybe the other drivers should just say as long as brown is driving like a fool we're not racing.

One of them racing deals I guess! They all make mistakes. I hated to see that happen to Randy Martin because he is a really nice guy that races people clean. He was # 14, he didn't change his # to 83 did he?

All of you people who are so quick to pile on Brownie because of this need to take a deep breath... There is no way Brown would wreck fellow Missouri guy Randy Martin on purpose. You don't "take people out" in sprint cars. Brian is a stand up guy and a good racer he cares about the fans and has a deep respect for the sport. Brown has passed more guys at Knoxville than anyone else this year and 80% of them have been with slidejobs. It was a racing accident and nothing else but to villify him for the next 8 days is nonsense

Jesus BESTFRIEND lets get a little more dramatic 1. Brian is a stand up guy and a MAN he got himself into this and will get himself out of it 2. Randy Anderson is not going to teach Brownie a damn thing from his living room or wherever he vanished to. 3. From a sponsor standpoint Brownie is a dream come true a bright, articulate, people person, but more importantly a WINNER 4. To call for a boycott is idiotic I hope Brian comes to your work and gets a bad carton of french fries and goes on hoseheads and calls for a boycott of your McDonalds

I agree with you ChasingOutlaws... If all of you remember a few laps earlier it was very close racing between Brown, Gharst, and Rilat, among others, there was a lot of, as they say in NAPCAR "trading paint" goin on between all of them. I'm not sayin that Brian shouldn't have waited until the next corner to get around him because he would have gotten by him, but get off the guys back, it was a racing deal.
I do wish all of you arm chair racers who have never raced a sprint car before and think it is so easy to drive one at 140 mph, could strap in and idle around Knoxville once... my guess is you would have a whole lot more respect for each and every one of those drivers.

Brian Browns move wasnt the smartest move. People often wonder why Jac Haudenschild never had a World of Outlaw championship, and its because of they way Haud drives the car, all out all the time. Thats what we love about Haud. His fearlessness behind the wheel to manhandle the car every time. And because the World of Outlaws race multiple day programs, Haud would sometimes get himself into trouble and not be able to have a good starting postition come Saturday night.
With that said, Brian Brown is NO Jac Haudenschild. He is not at that level, Hell only few are. And to make a move like that one he tried last night, has to make you wonder. What kind of mental state does this guy drive with. He had a potential top 2 or 3 row starting spot.
Back in the day you used to be able to call someone out. Tell them to hold on the next night. And then deliver with no penalty. Now days you cant fight, without being fined and points taken away. You cant tell someone paybacks a bitch you better hold on tomorrow, because of more of the same. This is how problems back in the day got resolved. Nowdays more then ever it is the officials who need to get the balls for drivers they deem unacceptable.
But it brought us all here this morning talking about it. AND THAT IS SPRINT CAR RACING!
Nothing like a little contraversy at the dirt track. Looking forward to night number 2!

What's the world coming to???
No more on-track retaliation, fist 'o cuffs in the pits, hell, the drivers can't even sit in the stands between heats and enjoy a cold one and an Iowa Tenderloin sandwich any more. No more jilted wives stabbing their daughters with a screwdriver for stealing their husband/step daddy (true story).
What a sorry state indeed.
I recall a wild man from Bartlett, TN that drove "Film at 11:00" wild...hell, he even won a trio of WoO titles about a hundred years ago.

Wow, some harsh words on here for Brownie. He deserves some of it I'm sure. But c'mon, he didn't wreck Martin on purpose. And I'm sure he didn't want to ruin his own chances of winning. He screwed up and I'm sure he feels horrible.
I remember Zomer taking out Langerud a couple of years ago the same way and he's been forgiven.
I'm not here to defend what BB did, but until you strap yourself into sprint car and race, don't be so quick to judge.

which short bus did you come off of? and what in the hell were you watching? obviously not the same thing everyone else in the stands saw. you need to think again if you think he didn't wreck him on purpose. in fact, it was to the contrary. "if i can't win this race, randy martin damn sure ain't gonna win it." it would have been so gratifying to see randy go down and do what he should have done...... give that bone head an ass kickin' he deserves!!! way to show your colors brown!!!!!! the days of "get out of my way i'm brian brown" are gonna come to a halt soon because the number of drivers ready to give him his just dues are seriously mounting..

Does anyone TRULY think B.B. would have any reason to crash both HIMSELF and Martin on purpose? I remember J.Saldana took out Randy Smith's kid in HOTLAPS going into turn 3 about 7 or 8 years ago and absolutely destroy Smith's car. On purpose??? of course not ... B.B.'s slider gone bad was not the smoothest move of speed week ... that I'll agree with that. Malicious or deliberate ?? No way ...just trying to win a race with a move that didn't work out.

I think Brians been around racing long enough to know that if you hit someones left rear with your right rear its going to send both of you flipping.... it was a slidejob gone bad... could have happened to anyone... just wait until a week from now.. guaranteed you will see some crazy slidejobs by many other drivers and a few people taken out.... its just the nature of the winged beast! In your signature it says "GO HARD OR GO HOME".. welll I'm pretty sure Brian was just going hard... like you say to do!
Brian had one of the fastest cars of the night, he was going to flat out beat Randy so why woud he have that sort of mentality?

you can't even call that a slide job, that was brians intentions going into three but he should have known better that it wasn't going to work, he was to far away and didn't get that good of a run going in to clear him. most drivers i talked to have a feeling if they know they can clear the car or if it is going to be close. all he had to do was wait half a lap and he would have had him, even randy knew that brian was going to get him. it would have been one thing if randy would have had a chance to lift. brian is a heck of a racer, but he isn't using his brain at all this year. i feel bad for his car owners tim and gina, they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. just my 2 cents

Isn't it sad that a guy with quality equipment and has the ability and car to race and even possible out race other drivers on the track, pull a sh%#! move like Brian Brown did...........to me that is NOT racin...........I have never been a Brian Brown fan and have ALWAYS stated to friends that he is a dirty driver!! Given the chance he would take his family out if he had the chance...........Oooops! Guess he already has tried that one to! Way to go Brian..........You the man!!----> NOT!!!!!!!!
