i never said it was cancelled. i said the person that was going to stream it had something come up and he could not do the streaming so he got someone else to do it.

My post wasn't towards the viewers...I had everything on the line last week, to do a broadcasts like the Chili Bowl cost tens of thousands of dallors!! If you don't understand the reason for my post then I'm sorry! Money made will help us bring you our FREE live audio broadcasts of the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour and United Rebel Sprint Car Series. 2014 will be our sixth year broacasting the National tour for free...

i just got word that the person that was going to stream the chili bowl on justin tv now has other plans and is not going to broadcast the race.

Actually, you left out the "But someone else will do it" part. No big deal, my fault for not checking anyway. Like someone said, there should be a video out soon

I watch justin.tv and several other stream sites all the time, been watching online streams for years. I watch nationwide napcar events, supercross, tv shows, movies whatever. No need for cable or satellite service. The broadcasters created this monster by charging ridiculous monthly fees for their tv "service" if you want to call getting bent over a "service". Broadcasters don't have the slightest clue that the genie is out of the bottle with streaming. There will never be a complete blackout of these streams. If one gets shut down another pops up to replace it. If the website gets shut down there are dozens more waiting in the wings to stream away. What these broadcasters need to focus on is making their programs pay for themselves through advertisers alone and not through rebroadcast fees from cable, satellite or pay per view. If they do it that way then anyone watching online or via traditional service is seeing the ads that are bringing in the revenue regardless.
Cheers!

The stream contained commercials so they were getting that point across, that is the key to the people that put the broadcast on I would think. Racefans support those that bring us racing, always have, always will....

Im trying to figure out if the "stream" was planted by MAVTV to attract the viewers that didnt have the channel, or did MAVTV purposely allow it to air on Justin.TV ? Either way it was a great marketing stragety. A no cost way to attract new interest to the channel. It wasnt a ppv so there were no dollars lost and the advertisers had to be watched. As I said before win win situation. Hopefully in the future they will include more open wheel events. T-Dub is proof that customers are willing to change their provider, or force the others to add MAVTV to their channel line up. Another option would be for MAVTV to offer an online subscription for a couple bucks a month. I would pay that and just watch it through my computer on my TV. If the MAVTV reps are reading this why dont you contact Dirtvision ? They want their product viewed and often have dificulties streaming it online.

My hats off to the whole crew, and people behind the scene's people for making the 2014 chili bowl .
Racin Boy's is a class act,MAVtv has a bright future with SB in the house, and JUSTinTV for streaming MAVtv to those who were less fortunate.
What a big save for that whole week of watching these 285 cars get down to the top 24,and all the time thinking there's no way I will be able to see it agin, and low and behold it happened.
I really hope i'm there next year(partly because of how rad RB hyped it up!!!)but more importantly I hope that this isn't the problem next year.I hope everybody who wants to see the chili bowl will be able to stress free.
PPV is lagit , just get it on for the whole 5 day's.
best quote:"the chili bowl is like a 5 day party where a race breaks out!!!!"

Not saying how I know this but JustinTV was not the only website airing the MAVTV broadcast of the Chili Bowl. I think there are a whole lot of gray areas here so that's all I've got to say about that.
