Any predictions for car count? And any notable names making the trip that don't usually come?

I'd say 40-45 tops (which for a $12,000 to win $800 to start show is extremely high IMO as outside of the KKR cars, no one is located in the Charlotte area, they are all driving 10+ hours to get there).
Some drivers might have shown up (Jason Johnson for example), that cannot due to ASCS National Tour being in Arizona this weekend as well.

57. Brian Brown, Ian Madsen, Bill Balog, Terry McCarl, Jessica Zemken, Brock Zearfros, Justin Henderson, Dave Blaney, Randy Hannagan, Brooke Tatnell, Brent Marks, Cole Duncan, Brandon Wimmer, Danny Lasoski, Wayne Johnson, to name a few. Id be surprised if they had less than 55 cars.

TK in the 59, Meyers in the 49, and Haud in the 9w. Definitely an interesting mix of cars. Good to see a lot of new faces coming down. Hopefully this keeps growing every year like it has to this point.

Wish they would move it somewhere else Tyler. A Track that can produce a pass!

Don't know about you and I've only been going to this race the last three years but I've seen plenty of great racing and passing there. The sprint and modified race last year were particularly good.

Last year's Friday sprint race might have been the race of the year.

I suspect the car count to be soso at best. Also ASCS has a $20,000 to win in Az this weekend.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Yea I saw that $20,000 to win and wondered how many are going to travel west instead of running Charlotte, and why can't these dam promoters work together.Seems like splitting the cars/fans up like this is bad buissness, but it is what it is,and both tracks are going to have good weather,so let's enjoy the end of the season...wow it's winding down fast.
Good luck to all those in contention for a championship.
