I think that the Perkins people will be there with three cars.

lets see,#1best purse west of the Mississippi $4000 to win $400 to start,#2pays cash at the end of the night,#3new track#4 wide open rule book,should bring 40-50 cars
but wait this is SoCal where teams would rather spend $300,000 on a tow rig than race

OK it was a bit of an exageration the point is how can you bitch about the high cost of racing when you over spend on non essentials.its like the baseball owners bitchen about high saleries.Who pays them????????????
if you want to lower the cost get back to basics

As a long time sprint car fan, A BIG THANKS to Scott and all those involved with URA, OSS and Victorville for trying to improve Non-wing Sprint car racing in Southern Ca. Been awhile since a local show paid well (other than the special $ races put on by Victorville in the past). Any one know if guys like Bernal, Bud, Damion, Fass, Spencer, Cardey, Kruseman etc will show up for opening night.

Bernal & Kaeding in B'field. Jory-Williams & Alexander-Gardner-Faas in San Berdoo. Not sure where the Vander Weerds are.
