I think the fact that Steve Kinser was able to win that IROC race so many years ago paved (pun intended) the way for Sprint Car racers to have success in Nascar. Like you say, they had to go to them at a younger age from Jeff Gordon to the latest Kyle Larson & all in between.

BS...what paved the way for Sprint/Dirt car drivers in NASCAR...was/is ex- sprint/dirt car racers putting Sprint/Dirt car drivers in Their NASCARS.

All 3 drivers had a pretty good track record running Sprint Cars, there is no way in HELL, that Steve Kinser and his sorry ass NASCAR record had anything to do with it. If anything, guys would look at what he accomplished in Sprints, and his abysmal record in NASCAR and make them say, "well if he can't do it, what makes me think that I can"

Did I say anything about his great Nascar carrer?
I said the fact that he won a race at Talledaga in equal equipment drew attention . It got him a ride. It didn.t get him a ride in equal equipment. Are you sure Steve Kinser couldn't succeed in Nascar if he got a chance at a younger age with good equipment?
I'm not a fan of Kinser but of all racers . Why do so many people have to bash everyone instead of enjoying what we are lucky enough to witness?

I will forever appreciate getting to see Kinser, Swindell, Wolgang, Dream Weaver, Tony Norem, Tony Stewart, John Kearney, Mike Brooks, Kyle Larson, Andy Hillenberg, Joe Gaerte, The Jacobs boys.... The list goes on and on, Some were great, some were great only to me but I will alway appreciate them all

Danica drove Hendrick equipment last year. What makes anyone think she'll do any better in it this year? Her teammate Newman is mediocre at best and if you think she's going to do better than him, you're an idiot. And if you think Danica will win this year, you deserve to be laughed at. As I have said before, go thru the entire 500 lineup and see how many drivers have never won a Nascar race. Most of them have been trying longer than Danica. Danica does not call the media up and ask them to interview her. I would think Nascar would be a little up set if she refused to talk to any media people. Even if Danica won the 500 you would say that she was given the race by Nascar. In your eyes she will never be able to do anything.

She has more Driving talent than you ever will. You don't even have enough to carry her helmet bag. If you did we would see you on the Pole of the 500. I bet you would crash on drop of the Green at the flag stand.

I would never even consider carrying a loser's helmet bag. Care to tell me how many sprint car championships she's won? Or any award other than most popular driver? Seems like we can put her in the same sentence as Dale Jr.? Thought so.

She is laughing all of the way to the bank and I suspect that she could give a rats a$$ what anyone on Hoseheads thinks about her. Why bother getting your panties in a bunch over her? Whether or not she can drive a car to anyone's satisfaction here on Hoseheads doesn't matter. The only people she needs to satisfy are her car owners and sponsors. It also doesn't matter that the rumor mill is churning about her future. Either way she will start The Daytona 500 from the pole. Why does anyone really care?

I always hear about 'good equipment' What if this guy had this equipment, what if that guy had that equipment? If you are that good, drive the car. People around the 'hype' would or should be able to tell if you have the moxie needed to drive the car. If people don't see it, you won't get the chance. Good or bad stuff, he did not get the chance to further his career, because no one saw anything from him to go out on a limb. Simple.
