Hello Midwest 305 Sprint Car Drivers and Fans. We have been presented the chance to race at Boone speedway in Boone Iowa. The races will be on weekends that Knoxville does not have 305s scheduled. They want at least a 15 car field. If interested please respond to the Mid West 305 president Bob Hildreth at (641-373-4111) Thanks!

It was taken to vote in the Knoxville rules meeting and they voted to not allow 350 blocks. They are however allowing aftermarket 305 blocks now. Dart will have them available in late March, also there a lot of Bowtie 305 blocks still around that are just as good.
Also I think 305's in Boone is a great idea. I will have my car there every night if it goes through.

The MW 305 did for a short time, until they worked with Knoxville and came up with basically 1 set of rules. Please look at the MW305's web page to see the rules for 2013.

Great to see support for the hopefully upcoming races, P.S. make sure to spread the word to other 305 drivers so we can the support needed!

Unfortunately the purse has not been discussed with the promoters at Boone, but the Mid West 305 purse is between $500-700$ to WIN. hopefully this has given you an idea of Possibilities. Are you interested in racing with us?

The weekly average car count, on regular race nights, at Jackson Speedway for the 305's exceeded the average of the 360's. When the purse is there, they will come. As we approch having the rules become standardized, the car counts will increase. I hope the 305 clubs can keep the rules in line to keep costs as low as possible.
Let's work together to keep the 305's racing! We need to get new, young owners & drivers involved in Sprintcar Racing to keep short track racing going in the future. JMO

Three shows. Possibly Four are what we have planned. REMEMBER if this goes through we will be racing at Boone Speedway on the weeks that the Knoxville Raceway does not have the 305s scheduled. This would be April 13th ( Knoxville practice night), May 11th (Mediacom Shootout World of Outlaws plus 360's) , June 1st POSSIBLE DATE, July 6th (410 twin features)

Thank you, we would like to put our 305 back in and make at least one of them, but were wondering how many there actually were. So thanks, I appreciate the information.

I have 3 305 blocks I would like to sell, two have cranks rods ect, one has a broken rod, but, I believe they are good useable cores I will be traveling from Northern ND through MPLS to Ames within the next couple weeks and can bring them with , I would like them paid for prior to depature so I don't waist my time luggn them around , no reasonable offer refused..
