They are probably having a tough time finding a driver that will conform to the demands of the crew-chief/team manager of the BWW 82 car. It seems the car is more about him than getting results or the driver. Plus, if your the next wheel-man of this ride, be prepared to take all fault for lack of performance as the car is always dead-on setup wise from what Ive been told.

I can't believe that Justin and Greg didn't workout. If my memory serves me right it was Justin and Rod who took Greg out on the road and then Greg was just a mud scraper? I hope Dobesh did get Greg hired on just to have Greg get him ran out of his own deal? In my opinion Greg is a parts hanger and a ball washer.

I remember the race clearly, hopefully I can find video of it. I believe he was being patient a bit, biding his time so to speak. once Scotty was bogged down by traffic, Justin blew by him. not trying to hate on anybody, I love the IRA. just saying the #82 team with JH looked mighty powerful last year.
|
He also qualified half a second faster than anyone else. Followed that up by going from 6th to 1st in the first corner of his heat and winning the heat by half a lap. Giving him the clean sweep. It was a pretty dominating performance...
Real race cars don't have fenders...

I am guessing with all of the "quality" drivers out there they are probably having more trouble narrowing it down to what driver they want...cause with the equipment that they have and money invested they just wanna make sure someone doesn't waste their time and money wouldn't you agree? This team functions more like a business which is becoming more common....if it was the drivers money invested in this then this discussion wouldn't be happening.

Sounds like Henderson is gonna run the Ferkel #0 with the All Stars. Not a bad ride.

Judging from the schedule the BWW team wants to run I find it hard not to hire Terry McCarl. Being as he's form the mid west and has bad so much success. Greg and Terry have been successful together. Or if T Mac wants to run his own team how do you not hire Austin? Kid has won and come so close to winning at Knoxville. I would be interested in seeing what the kid can do with some real backing.

Put Terry Mccarl in the car and win a ton of races, track championships and sell a ton of t-shirts and hot wings.
