Today I received a phone call from Ray Scheetz and he said that it took Jim Cardey a long while for him to read all of the cards that have been sent to Steve. He also said each card that was read to him he had a pleasant story behind the name. I went to see him on wednesday and he was in very good spirits messing with anyone he can and would listen to him. Sometimes a little too much for some of the nurses but thats our buddy Steve. The cards I read that day even put goose bumps on my arms the nice things you guys have wrote. Thank you for all of the great cards and stories in them to pep Steve up. As of now Steve is in no shape to come out to Perris tomorow night and is pretty down about it. Lets keep Steve in our prayers and lets include Pam Alexander, Evelyn Pratt and anyone else in our racing family that needs us. See everyone at the Glen Howard tomorrow night.

Tony does Steve have a laptop or someone that can lend him one? We would love to hook him up with the live video stream from the track tomorrow night.
