Yep, IMO Cody and Lucas aren't Posse. Doesn't mean we can't be proud of them though. No doubt in my mind that Meyers is California, what else could he be, lol?

i agree you should be proud of your own.
claiming an okie and a skater dude as your own though just sounds dirty.

california lets not start bragging yet we have a horrible track record at the nationals when it comes to the A main on saturday........... typically the fast outlaws shine in the A on saturday guys like swindell kinser schatz saldana dollansky... good chance schatz wins another one, hes starting close to the front. i hope tim kaeding wins though would be amazing the kings royal was a real let down though. i would be happy for Saldana or Dollansky to win too though i dont think theyve won a nationals im also pulling for them to win outlaw championships. They have paid their dues and then some.

Its funny reading some of these posts with the Cali and Posse fans debating on which state has the best drivers. One of the reasons why I enjoy sprint car racing is becasue of the loyal fans to the local guys. I'm from Ohio and I wish we had they type of racing that all of you have each week. The Attica and Fremont boys are fun to watch but I am sure it is nothing like going to Williams Grove or Silver Dollar.
It would be neat to see a race just between the PA and Cali. Pick 12drivers from each state and race at a track in the middle of the US each year to see who has the best driver from the two states are.

it is all about competition.
i would never say that the posse guys aren't good or that drivers from a certain place aren't good.
good drivers come from all over.
the posse fans always claim their guys are BETTER than ANYONE.
i have never said our guys are better than anyone. they outperform some at times.
cali has put more of its own in the A main this year than any region. we can show pride in that.
we will just have to see how they can perform.
as far as that race in the middle of the US every year...........it is going on now.

Well we could settle it once and for all if someone found out who has won more outlaw races in history racers born in PA or CA? But even that wouldnt settle it, maybe take the 10 best all time from CA and PA and compare their stats somehow. I dont like the transplant deal I go by where someone was born and grew up racing, thats where they are from. Walker posse? no. hes california etc. But ya its all pointless arguing who is best there are great drivers from everywhere in this country and australia. And by far and away the best ever is from Indiana so..

I've been to both Fremont and Attica and I've been to William's Grove. In my opinion the racing is better on the short tracks of Ohio. A weekly show at Silver Dollar doesn't compare to either unless its a series race like KWS.

YES IT IS! He lives in TN. because of racing logistics, but Paulie was born, bred, raised, and cut his racing teeth in Central Ca., and will always be a Cali boy! Go ask him............

So possee vs ca boyz. Just curious as to why you are always wanting ca boys to come to pa. Why is that? Because you never leave penn that's why. Who cares anyway about the WOOzers anyway and what state everyone is from!!! How many of you live sprint car racing? That is all that matters!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Now now Cubes, let's not get in to name calling. I thought you were supposed to be above it all, just trying to tweak the board into getting crazy, haha.

Ah I see but it's not OK for PA to claim someone that was born, bred and cut their racing teeth in PA. Nice double standard.
Racing logistics? TN?Geez by some of the fans on here, I would have thought that the center of the sprint car world was CA. How many times has Paul raced in CA this year? How many weekly 410 tracks does CA have?(PA has 5) How many 410 races total in the state? I agree that CA has produced a lot of great drivers and has a handful of topnotch well funded teams but I never thought of CA as a hotbed for winged 410 sprint cars. If it was they wouldn't be looking to leave.

Wow... Cali looking like the strongest sprint car region by far with J. Allard, TK, K. Larson and J. Meyers (in local Cali car) in A main. Where is the Posse?? Staying on the porch???
Pretty sad how few PA drivers come out when the state has over 80 - 410 teams in the area.
|
$$$$ Most of those teams are mid to low budget. I heard last year that it costs about 25K to fund a trip to the Knoxville Nationals, seemed high to me but I'll take their word. There's 3 tracks running 410's in central PA this weekend. I'd love to see some more of the top teams like Dietrich and Montieth represent at Knoxville but it's their money.

I agree Pittman is Posse and has been for a few seasons. Right now Darrah and Wolfe are WoO drivers that come from PA. Walker is Posse he will tell you that. Stevie Smith isn't really Posse this season he more like an invader. To put it in simple terms NO OUTLAW IS Considered Posse get that through your thick skulls people.
It was The stupid inversion that Killed Rahmer Kinser and a bunch of other quality rides. Why they always feel the need to use in inversion is absurd. Inversions suck esp. when used in heat races. If they didn't every from of racing would use it. Could you see an Inversion in NASCAR.....LMAO
|
The inversion is the same for everyone. Knoxville awards the ability to pass cars along with the ability to time well which is the way it should be. The inversion didn't kill Rahmer. His inability to pass anyone did. Lets face it; he time's well because he's got a great car with a strong motor but he's long past his prime.

Agreed, I much prefer the racing at Attica/Fremont to about anywhere I have ever been...including Central PA. Name recognition doesn't make the racing better.

you are kind of twisting things when you substitute PA for posse. i for one have said i had no problem saying stevie and darrah and wolfe are posse for this event, but the posse fans shot me down. they wanted to claim pitman.
PA can claim their own, and should. they can be from PA all day long, but the posse fans said they are not POSSE.
according to the posse fans just being from PA doesn't equal being posse.
us cali guys are celebrating the efforts of born and bred california drivers, we aren't trying to claim imported drivers on a technicality.
by your standards we should be able to claim shane stewart. he is driving a cali car with a cali owner and a cali sponsor (jeff gordon)
to indy and beyond!!
