Ya know it's amazing how 2 young guys could just go on the road with the NCRA, and 30 years later we're nuts over their pics! Must have been one hell of a summer!

In that pic is John Ewell sitting on the LR and maybe Charlie Ochs talking to the Bullet and Fred Hembree inhat behind Ewell's car.
Stayed withe Bullet a couple of years before that pic was taken and knew back then wanted a openwheel car, had a few less cheeseburgers, pizza and a few less Pie Seasons then, those were good times back then, hit the NCRA's hard in mid to late 70's , prolly hitting 20+ NCRA shows then plus weekly stuff everyweek then and been going and either competeing or helping out every weekend from mid March till first of Nov. Each season, racing has been it for me from a kid to now from a fan to helping out on cars to ownership of a race car for now my 25th season , guess u could say it is a way of life for me, local dirt racing suffers more now than anytime I can recall but find it still fun and challenging to compete and the want to WIN!!!!.
