squirt wanker
|
what is it wanker? Are you done racing or not? You just stated that you quit racing because of the politics but yet You have other posts that you have a testing ride for a ARCA team at daytona and you are looking for a ride at the chili bowl. I will have to say the best thing you have every done is quit racing. But if you do decide to race again please stay out of a sprint car we already have enough idiots in the sport.(IRA)(Biertzer,Egan, etc) Enough Said

Why would any of the Outlaw regulars want Sides to stay with the WoO?
If he leaves that's one less competitor for them and more money for them.
WoO sucks though, either way.

I agree with you WOO/WRG sucks!
i just remembered i was supposed to remember to
remember something but cant remember what i was
supposed to remember.

I agree with you! I wished those guys would back Sides, but, they won't. A few of those guys have the balls to do this but most are a bunch of kiss ass pansies. Would of loved to went to the finals this year, the old lady had to much on my honey do list. I have a couple of friends there and they told me Sides wasn't even allowed to park with his fellow woo racers. He always parks with the 11 and was made to park elsewhere! Now that sounds like a bunch of friggin women making up rules as they play there games against the guy! Shows you what kind of people that WRG has working for them. I would like to put a foot up some asses about right now! Maybe it's a good thing I'm not at the Finals.

Geez, calm down tough guy.

If the WOO folded Petty would be right there to start a new series.
|
I would not bet on that! Tony stewart would be the most likely person.

If the Outlaws folded any smart person would run like hell from a late 70's business model that failed in this economy. The management might have some faults but I can't speak from personal experience because they've been a pleasure to work with as a photographer and writer. Every business has it's detractors and nobody appreciates success.
If it were to happen and I'm not saying it will because I don't pay attention to this dribble but if they ever did go under it would be due to the economy and high gas prices bottom line. A prosperous economy and reasonable gas prices can make up for a lot of these nit picky political differences. They're still the best drivers and if any become disgruntled and leave the tour there will be more to step up and replace them. People ought to worry more about finding enough car owners, sponsors and tracks willing to pay the sanction to keep this thing strong than one driver's experience.
Could they have let Jason run in Fargo? Yeah. Did Sides sign on the dotted line and know the rules? Yeah. Could the Outlaws have been a little more diligent about returning his call? Yeah. Do I care? No!

I stand behind Jason! Go 7s! I have been accussed of making posts to this forum from Justin/World of outlaw official. I just want you to know Justin, when the time comes for me to post, this is me on this forum. I won't hide behind a fake screen name. Since I'm here, I will say this. Jason is someone that has supported your series for many years, he has many many fans, for the company that you work for, do to him what they are doing, will some day bite the them in the ass. That's all for now! GO 7s

You go girl!
You've been accused? Wow... the last time I looked this was the USA and we still had a first amendment, right? I think their heads have swollen to the point that they think they are part of the current administration or something...
I, however, have commented on the situation quite a bit. As you know, Jason is a very good friend, the whole Sides family I consider my family. I refuse to sit idly and watch Goliath attack David over and over again.
All that WRG needs to do it what is right.. I don't think there is any benefit in them losing another car on the tour and I know that Jason simply cannot afford to start 2012 off without the funds from this ridiculous amount that WRG seems to have pulled out of the air...
The purse/penatly at the Syracuse race was another example of their seemingly schizophrenic behaviour as of late...

Don't let them morons rile you up. If there's any one person that's not afraid to say what they think, that's you. I'm surprised you haven't plastered the board and told everyone what you told me. I know what you said, in due time.

I'm pretty riled right now! To begin with, it is TRUE that they would not allow Jason to park with the team that he usually parks with which is the #11 team. They parked him 22 cars away. He was parked so far away from the guy that helps out with his engines that this become a issue with his car running correctly. He even told a WOO officicial when parking that he needed to park next to guy that helped with his engine issues and was refused and was made to park the opposite end of track as to who he usually parked beside. This didn't get Jason down though, he stayed focused and got through the first nite of racing with some engine troubles and a bad qaulify for Saturday nite that would put him in the back of the field for his heat race. Jason did ok Friday night and made the A. Engine troubles would make bad finish but the night was over and he would get up bright and early and change engines for Saturday night show. Jason didn't transfer out of his heat and would be in the B main. Starting 13th in the B, with a nonstop race, he finished 10th and didn't make the A. Jason asked to take a provisional and was denied by the Woo official. Jason ran 100% of the woo schedule in 2011 and before Wrg/Woo robbed him of his points monies of over $40,000 he still had a provisional left. This still didn't get him upset. You see Jason believes in karma and he knows karama is going to rear it's ugly head very very soon! The only good thing the weekend brought to Jason was. When he was backing the rig out to leave before the A main, the rig engine stopped blocking the road to get the cars to the staging area, Jason was calm but worked trying to get the rig started. Woo officials had to re-route the cars to line them up for the A. Fans gathered asking to buy shirts, the line got large, and Jason stood and sold many many shirts. Lots of fans showed there support to one of the most decent drivers Woo has ever had on thier circuit. The A main started and the rig finally started and Jason headed out. I can't believe that Wrg/Woo would treat a guy that has followed and supported them for so long. I've always been told, when one door closes, a better one opens! Good Luck Jason Sides and Sides motorsports in your road ahead. I hope you get whats coming to you 10 times!

It's a shame this rule exists. I remember this Summer I went to the Jackson Nationals/Big Game Shoot Out in Jackson, MN. Sammy Swindell had permission to race this event and no other full time Outlaw did. It was dumb because it was a $12,000 to win feature. It was even worse that the Outlaws were racing Princeton MN the next day and Husets the day after that. All of the drivers were in the area. The event was rescheduled from April to June due to rain, so in that time they did nothing but raise more money. This would have been a bigger than average payout for all the drivers. There were a lot of big names there but that rule is just awful, could have been a much better time.
I hope Sides sues and wins. I hope this rule is changed. You shouldn't be allowed to race at sanctioned only tracks. The sport could grow so much more if drivers were allowed to race any series.

WRG will get its shit. WoO still has my heart, but not WRG who run WoO.
When can't even register as a penny stock, on Nasdaq, and still think you have power, you are an assh***!!!
My now weird but true 2 cents!? Be cool to see some old WoO guys pool some money and buy the T-pee whipping ass paper called WRG or at least the WoO name.
This sucks I have to feel more sad for the World of Outlaws, than I did at a funeral today.

I talked with Paul and Larry yesterday (Jason's brother and father for those of you that don't know) and was told about all of this. Sides Motorsports has definitely been more professional about this whole ordeal that WRG has been for sure.
Let's see how this "organization" acts today at the banquet....
Now is when Dave Despain needs to interview Jason and let more people see what is going on. I doubt this will happen for all of the wrong political motives.
I hope that Deckard insists on a jury trial...

MHardee I know you are probally are aware of about everything that is going on and you are right about Jason being professional about this ordeal. I was also at the Williams Grove race where Jason had to return a trophy that he had won and WRG was threatening him than about keeping more of his money if the trophy wasn't returned. When they came to the rig to get the trophy they didn't want others to see what was going on and asked Jason for a garbage bag to put it in, to leave the trailer with it. Jason at this time expressed his desire to end this thing. He made them a offer for them at this time to keep what monies they had already cheated him out of, which was a few thousands at this time. He was told than pretty much it wasn't gonna happen. It wasn't that Jason was saying I did wrong, lets end this, It was him saying I don't like this, I wanna be a member, let's end this and go on. They have treated him like the outcast since the rumours of a lawsuit. If these people at WRG were any decent kind of people at all they would of acted like a bunch of mature business minded guys and tried to resolve this in a more professional manner. If Brian Carter had just returned a phone call this wouldn't be going on. Jason would of not liked it but he wouldn't have raced the race that Schatz, and Kasey Kahnes Racing cars raced that day. It wasn't like it was a few hours before the race that Carter had been called, It was days. He actually made verball contact with Carter to be told , "Hey I'm busy crunching numbers, let me get back to you tomorrow". Carter never returned his call and phone records will show this. Must of been a bad day of crunching numbers! At one point I know Jason didn't want this to go as far as having to go to court and fighting for the over $40,000 that WRG has stolen from him. Jason needs this money that he has earned to return to racing. He has supported running 100% of every race with this series. Yes there is a contract, Yes Jason signed the contract, but the contract he signed is a screwed up contract that probally isn't worth the paper it's wrote on. We'll see what the courts have to say! My money is on Jason Sides and Sides Motorsports. I have lots more to say but theres gonna be a time for it.

WoO has that Facebook promotion to win tickets. Just send in a picture of yourself in your favorite WoO shirt. Can't wait to send in a picture of myself wearing an NST shirt! and I will too

I guess what pisses me off the most is the way they are treating Jason... Jason and his family are nothing but a first class act and they don't deserve to be treated like this... I would like to see the WRG pull this crap with Stewart, Kahne, or any other big team. But that would never happen cause those guys would pull their teams and tell the WRG to suck it. While I'll miss seeing Jason on the outlaw tour, I'm sure I'll get to see him at The Ditch a few times, probably Pevely a couple times, and of course he'll be a the Nationals... So WRG/WOO if you lose Jason, you lose me also... And I know you don't care about me, but remember there are lot me's out there and we all support Jason and his family... Double Down...

Jason Sides is a class act from start to finish. I am waiting to see how many of his fellow drivers and owners stand behind him. I think we all will be amazed at how many WON'T. Too bad, as I'm sure he would be behind any of the other drivers being crapped on like this. Shame on you WRG!!!
