I will check it out for sure, thanks dude, I got a few emails and I should of checked the dates and information before I made the post. I sure thank you for setting me straight. Your the man! Maybe the person sending me the email had his head bumped one to many times.

Yes Dave your wrong, Jason Sides was the "Rookie of the Year" in 2003. The banquet was in Las Vegas. If I remember this story correctly, Jason thought he would be recieving $30,000 for the rookie title, 10K each, from the 3 chassis companies, was what he was told. What he got was $10K only!! The following year Kraig Kinser won and he got a new Harley I think I'm right on KK but I would have to verify that for sure. Thanks for all the support that you are giving to Jason Sides and Sides Motorsports. I can only hope someone like you will be sitting on that jury. Keep up the support and keep on hunting.

This article gives me hope. Hope Jason kicks their sorry arse into next week sometime and gets what he's got coming to him. Points and $$$ and respect.

I get all the support for Jason. I agree what WRG did is wrong. But Jason made a major mistake by putting it out to the public that he was going to sue them. He gave them the upper hand. The way I understand is that Jason still hasn't filed a law suit. Maybe he should have done it before opening his mouth. There's more to this than what everyone on here thinks they know..... Just some thoughts.........................

I recieved this email from Jasons dad today and thought this was worth sharing. Another thing, I was reading some of the posts on different sites. I can't beleive the people that are supporting this guy and his business, racing people are awesome!

There are five (5) threads on the hoseheads forum. Collectively, they have a total of, get this, 17,597 views. Granted, probably 10-20% of that number are from people like me that check back to see the lastest post. But when you look back at all the threads that have been on this forum, I don't believe there is one that has the interest that this issue has generated.

1. Jason Sides Press Release to Sue WRG
2. Let me get this straight
3. Jason vs. WRG/WRG vs Jason
4. WoO Lockout
5. If You Really Want To Help Jason Sides

I just thought this might be some good info to let our fan base know. I feel better with you guys posting than on the Sides Motorsports facebook page. What do you think?

Thanx for all you guys have done,
Larry

Madsen, I don't HATE WRG or Donnie Schatz.

Donnie is a great racer but I have never found him to be approacable or friendly on or away from the track. That's just Donnie and it's his personality. Donnie is not a fan favorite.

I don't know the workings or anyone at WRG. They seem to do a great job with WOO late model racing but they seem to be lacking credibility with the WOO drivers.

Let's not forget that Sides and Steve Kinser are very tight and I'm sure Steve has a dog in this hunt too. Steve was a prime mover in the failed NST and USA Sprint Series. Could Steve is looking at running WOO after he quits racing? Once Steve and Sammy retire or stop racing sprint cars, how well will the WOO draw?

Very good observation. As the major entertainment agencies use their personalities as advertisers, WOO should do the same and allow each racer a limited number of "ad races" in non-competing ventures, because when ever the a WOo regular shows up to race, the gate swells and smaller tracks can make ends meet. Five races would be a good number to start and then Knoxville could throw two big races more and pay a larger purse. Otherwise, perhaps Jason should also pursue the monopoly angle like pro basketball is pursing.

in addition, we'd see some more willingness for small tracks to bump up the payouts and draw good gates and really give credience to being an OUTLAW that goes to the money.

That`s exactly what happen`s in Australia when only 6 or 7 WoO driver`s come down the crowd triples and the smaller track`s benefit too. There name`s sell tickets and people pay to see the best.

From my understanding those 'small tracks' having WoO shows to make ends meet are far and in between. By the time a 'small track' pays about $40,000 to just have WoO show up, then their normal track expenses, it gets hard. I remember tracks with seas for 1,000 having WoO races. Good luck making much money unless you have at least 3,500 seats or 2,000 seats with $50 pit passes and $40 in the stands.

Selling ads and sponsorships could add a lot to the 2500 seats and making the Woo show a season highlight keeps the weekly shows humming when the locals can fill out the outlaw field. Money is made by owners when they draw the fans.

I'm hearing some stuff here in North Dakota that Sides will be team mates with Schatz and Kinser. That would be a good trio for sure. Maybe the world racing group wouldn't mess with the little guy if the big guy brings him on board. World Racing Group you SUCK, to take a mans money that he earned. I hope justice slaughters you!

Where do the WOO drivers stand on this issue? Funny that we haven't heard a peep out of any of them?

Good question. I'm sure they are not looking to get their a$$ in a jam with WRG.

Why is it funny? Many of the WoO drivers would be in support of Sides Motor Sports but to declare it publicly with pending law suits and being contracted drivers put`s them in such a position that they can`t show public support.Farley easy to understand one would think.

A lot of attitudes on this board reflect what's wrong with our society. "I screwed up, probably shouldn't have done it, so now I'm gonna make somebody pay" mentality is killing this country. I just don't get it...it would be interesting to know for sure what the penalty of violating the contract actually was. If it were really a loss of money at the end of the season, then why the hell would someone run for 10 grand and possibly give up 40 grand? That's just plain old stupid where I come from. Of course, where I am from, we honor what we say we are going to do, plain and simple...and if we sign it, consider it done.

Has the Osky "Front row challenge" been brought up in this conversation? Just curious.. How does that night not conflict with WRG rules?
