Well first off it's very poor Hoseheads does not have Billy's picture on the home page.
He's going to win the IRA champion chip for the fourth year in a row.
He won his 11th and 12th feature this weekend.
He not only won Friday at Superior he destroyed the competition.
Saturday at Cedar Lake was a 5,000.00 pay day for him( Jerry Richert memorial).
We have watched this guy just get faster and faster for the last five years.
He's also is a clean driver and a good guy to boot.

Flash batteries took a dump after time trials so I wasn't able to shoot victory lane. Not thinking or I'd have charged and brought along some backups.

Got it on Video but haven't had time to post. Got some nice photos up through the first non-wing heat before the batteries quit on me. I'm not sure what that was about, I've shot over 300 full power shots so I must have a cell going down. Charging the old batteries and spares as well as the new ones that went dead this weekend. Hopefully now that they fully discharged they'll work again.

P.S. You guys should come up to Saint Croix Valley this weekend and check out the program. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what a racy little quarter mile it is. UMSS 360's on Saturday night and close to home.

Thanks. I hit one once in a while. Unfortunately a couple of the rechargeable batteries in my auxiliary flash power pack developed a bad cell and I had to put the camera away and sit in the stands with my son for the rest of the night. Darn it, had to watch sit and relax and watch a race from the stands instead of running around in the dirt all night. I hate it when that happens.
The way racing photo sales have taken a dive with our weekly racers up here the stands are probably going to be a more frequent choice.

Do you think they will try and start the races with a chulk line and let the flagman be the judge???? To many mistakes with the unss big shots trying ti do it all....Copy the I R A starts, they were very fair...how about pump and ck the intakes of the winner right after the race...Not uncommon among most tracks...

I don't know. I just go to the races and do my thing. When I'm not at the Sprint races a lot of times I'll be at Late Model and Modified shows and everywhere I go there's controversy about one thing or the other. I try not to let that stuff get to me because it takes the fun out of this deal. There's something to be said for sitting in the stands and being oblivious to all the controversies.
