Looks like it should be a good weekend to be a sprint car fan in WI with the WoO running on Friday at Cedar Lake Speedway, and Saturday in Beaver Dam. What are we looking at for car counts? Cedar Lake is usually in the mid 20's and Beaver Dam typically pulls a few more. I'm thinkin' Beaver Dam could get more local support, but what about Cedar Lake? Not many local 410's up that way, but am hoping for guys like McCarl, Tatnell, the Heskins, Whitney, Lasoski, and other regional travelers to help fill out the field.
Your thoughts...

I'm 32 miles from CLS and they only thing I'm sure about is a ton of B Mods and I think the UMSS is going to have an exhibition race of their traditional (non-wing) Sprints. Great weather, great location, good food, good friends and Sprint Cars on the first day of 11 vacation days. If some 410's happen to show up that will be a bonus.

Talked to the Heskins' at Jackson and they were planning to be at CLS. Danny has his car back together and will be his first time on Cedar, I think. Not sure how bad Davey hurt his motor at Knoxville Sat., but assume he will have it fixed or a spare installed.
Brooke Tatnell will be there if they can get everything together in time. They are due back from Florida around noon, so shouldn't be too much of a problem if the plane isn't late, traffic isn't too bad, and they have the truck loaded now.
Hope they get a good showing on the non-wing cars. I think the best count they've had so far is 8 or 9. I'd really like to see this take off!

Just read on Twitter that Brad Sweet will be making the trip to Wisco to run both nights with the WoO.
Keep 'em coming boys!

Check that, the 17B is Billy Balog. Stevie had it listed as Buckwalter earlier on the updates page.

Solid field of cars at Cedar Lake last night. Very deep field. You know it's a tough crowd when you have guys like Kemenah, Dollansky, Rose, Balog, Barickman, and Tatnell in the B-main.
Pretty disappointed in the A-main though. Track was dry, dusty, and taking rubber by the half-way point. Outside of the double-file restarts, there wasn't much passing going on. Hoping for a little better racing surface tonight at Beaver Dam.

w this heat & sun, I'm doubting there's much that can be done to prevent a dry track.
