I left after Madsen took a tumble as it was coming up on midnight if that tells you anything. The feature was shaping up to be ok with Schatz tracking down Dobmeieir but then the yellow came out and messed that all up. I would say over all the racing sucked too! The only "food" I had was a rediculously overpriced 4 dollar beer. The track was terrible and had to be redone twice. The UMSS feature was good with Graf and Richert having a good battle for the top spot. Never been to this show before despite it being 45 miles from my home and I probably won't go back next year.

We checked out Princeton for the first time ever and my first WoO show in probably 5 or so years. Got there around 330 and most tickets were sold out, ended up buying the pit combo and sat on the backstretch grandstands. Not very high bleachers all the way around, but the view wasnt bad. Kinda cool to walk through the pits, listen to the drivers meeting, watch Steve Kinser's crew change engines after the dash, etc..
Wasnt too impressed with the overall running of the show. Started late, tore up the track after hot laps and qualifying and then again before the 2 a mains. I myself thought the track was just getting good in the dash and the B main and then they tore it up again. Walking through the pits it looked to me like most WoO drivers were unhappy about tearing up the track again?.. But maybe not... We got blasted in the pit stands during the A mains from dirt, not complaining about it cuz thats Dirt racing. Also some very inconsiderate fans, as I saw numerous altercations regarding seating issues. Anyways..show got over finally at 1130pm. 2 hour drive home = 130. Same time as Jackson the previous night I guess.
I thought the food was good, had a burger and cheese curds, and they weren't any higher priced than anywhere else. Anyways, I personally thought the racing was ok at best, wish Dobs coulda held on, but he still had a good run.
Honestly, I probably wont go back to this race in the future, kinda wishing I would have went to Husets instead tonight, but the weather dont look promising anyway. Knoxville still has everything beat by a mile in this Sprint car world!

I drove 7 hours from home to watch the Jackson show on Fri. Great race. I hope they do it again next year. Too bad the Outlaws were not allowed to run the Jackson show without being penalized 250 points if they did. Bad deal. WoO officials screwed that up BIG TIME. Thought seriously about driving another 3 to Princeton. I headed back towards home hoping to catch the Knoxville show instead, but it was rained out. I still think I made the right choice to head for home. I think the WoO is going to go downhill in the future.

Well the Jackson show realy SUCKED.
They started to pack the track when the show should of started.
About the start of the B main the track was ready for warm ups.
Way to fast one lane wonder.
Hell it made Knoxville look racy.
The A main was very good thow, Brooke won!
As far as Princeton go's, it has'nt change in the 40 years I'v been going there and never will.
The racing was Exhalant! and Donny won!!

Im surprised no one is talking about Dobmeiers decision to take the inside on a restart....gave the race to schatz at that point.

Congratulations to Donny Schatz on his 107th career World of Outlaws win. Aside from the crowded grandstand, the porta johns, working the track and all that other stuff I still love the photo ops at Princeton. Up on the top of the berm with pine trees in the background.

Thanks, I am still relatively new to dirt track racing, so I am very often clueless as to where these tracks are located.

Swindell proved how he got the nickname "Slammin Sammy". In the words of Johnny Gibson, Swindell just punted that car out of the park. What a joke!

The racing was good in both the 360's and the 410's.

The racing in the A was pretty good, not the best Outlaw race I've seen, but a B or B+ for action. There was also some good heat race action, and Meyers getting by Dollansky in the 4th turn of the last lap of the heat was pretty great. It was my time to both Jackson and Princeton, and both were fun nights.

Johnny actually called him out for that "bone head move" AND mentioned BIG GAME in the same context. Could that have anything to do with the previous nights race!
