A stats guy shared this info on the Williams Grove message board. No boasting, no smack talking, although I'm sure Mulligan will have something to add. It just makes ya see how lucky we are in PA.

Stats from the drivers in heat #1 at WG this last Friday evening.

341 Wins (311 410's/30 358's)

27 Track Championships (21 410's/6 358's)

31 WoO Wins

5 National Open Wins

Didn't attend, so I'm not positive, but I think Lance Dewease won the 1st heat.

So here are the results as posted on the All Star site

Heat 1 - Kear's Speed Shop (8 Laps - Top 5 Transfer)
1. 29-Tyler Walker; 2. 77-Aaron Ott; 3. 17B-Steve Buckwalter; 4. 1-Stevie Smith; 5. 39-Greg Hodnett; 6. 11E-Mike Erdley; 7. 27-Daryn Pittman; 8. 16-Cliff Brian

Let's break this down a bit...

Tyler Walker - a champion and mutli-feature winner...in California! Some Pa success...

Aaron Ott - a Pa guy

Steve Buckwalter - a ton of midget success, one or two in PA sprints

Stevie Smith and Greg Hodnett - no need to point out anything.

Mike Erdley - a few Pa wins

Daryn Pittman - some Pa success, but several WoO wins.

Cliff Brian - some Pa. success

So if the origianl poster was pointing out the success of the combined field, he's right; but if he was claiming that WG was the reason for that success, well,.....

In an effort to get the post back on track, the original poster was talking about Heat 1 Williams Grove Friday. (You posted Heat 1 Saturday from the Port):

30c - Dewease, 35 Henderson, 88 Shaffer, 71 Leppo, 39 Hodnett, 51 Rahmer, 69k Kreitz, 11c Hass, 7 Layton, 21k Pruitt, 2 (not sure who the driver was). 30c did win the heat.

And the poster started with, '....No boasting, no smack talking.........It just makes ya see how lucky we are in PA.' And lucky we are. Most of those guys are at The Grove weekly, lucky indeed. Most of those names need no "break down.'

........thank you for your clarification on my behalf Becker. Lol.wink

Obviously with the AllStars in town the stats would be fortified a bit, all in all an impressive field in just 1 of the 4 heat races.

I kinda like the guy in such a hurry to **** all over the original post that he analysed the wrong track. LOL
