Handicapping is fun to watch especially at the Port. Now watch and see how many races are won from the front row and how little passing will be.

I'm not so sure about that. I've always seen actual qualifying sessions at K-C Raceway using a timing light. I didn't think the track had a transponder wire. Up until this season, K-C has qualified both the sprints and LMs - thankfully, after enough late nights, they have pulled back to qualifying only one class per night this year (and it won't necessarily be either of the headline classes if a touring mod show is in town).

K-C is not qualifying any classes this year unless it is a touring series or special show.

I have no idea how someone can saw drawing a pill for starting position in the heat race, or re-drawing by top 2 in each heat is catering to the "big" teams. Tell me please how does that work? I have an idea where you are going with this thought and would appreciate it if you would include YOUR definition of a "big" team and a "little" team.

BTW, you may soon not have to worry about the Grove since the Pink Haired Lady appears to be doing her best to run the place into the ground, or considering how flooded the pits have been for the last 2 weeks - hoping it will wash down stream. Absolutely horrible track and pit conditions for the past 2 weeks (the only that made this past friday's A interesting was that they got a 5 minute shower before feature time).
