What is going on with the World of Outlaws website? They have not updated it with the 2011 schedule. Ever since Public Relations Director Tony Veneziano was let go, there is no news on the World of Outlaws. Work-N-Woody, Tony, who is next?
Tony was great, very prompt on posting the results, current news, etc. Sure do miss him.

I was kind of wondering the same thing, I keep checking the website to see if I am missing out on some of the PR's that I post to Open Wheel.

No. Just a fan but I do miss the quick updates on the WoO website from Tony. I wish WoO gets the ball rolling with information. I need to plan my 2011 racing season. Come race time I'll miss seeing Work-N-Woody pushing off the cars. I guess all good things come to an end sooner or later. Just too bad it came sooner.

Agree on Tony. Think letting him go was a mistake, but what else do you need to plan your 2011 season other than the 2011 schedule, which has been out since mid December on their website?

I heard rumors there were some race dates changed in California. Anyone have the accurate 2011 WoO schedule.

We received a press release on the schedule on December 10th last year I think. This is it here.

We also got this press release today that has the West Coast Schedule on it. We haven't technically published it yet.

I thought a good way to support the outlaws would be to invest in them directly by purchasing some stock in the parent co. Unfortunately, I only found out that the outlaws are mismanaged to a degreee that the value of the co. in the eyes of investors, really smart people, is near ZERO! My point is not to attack the product, the woo are the best, it is instead to shed light on the fact that whoever is in charge needs to make some changes in regards to marketing and, most importantly, a t.v. or internet video deal that actually works well and offers more consistent programming!!!!!!!!!!!! The outlaws have survived the recessiion relatively intact and need to come out of it with guns ablazing.

While I think Tony V. did an outstanding job with the WoO PR, Chris Dolack was the PR director before him and did a great job as well. I believe Chris went over to the WoO Late Model series and was handling they PR while Tony V did the sprint car series. Dolack must be back with the sprint cars as he has been responsible for the last few press releases (maybe handling both sprint car and late model P.R.'s.)

Boots
Will he work for next to nothing (or less) as that appears to be an important criteria?

Thanks for the compliment Boots. Think they'd like my recent dwarf car stuff? All kidding aside, if the call ever came for whatever reason they may have I'd have to seriously consider it...

Looks like the WoO is cutting payroll by two changes during off season , Tony did a great job , they had the guy doing everything he could do to save money it look like from what I could see .
They need to do more fan activities , giveaways , and nightly autograph sessions they were doing those for a while .
