After watching an hour and a half feature, with 4 complete restarts, it's amazing the race wasn't black flagged for another day. Robery Ballou deserves a purple heart after that race. Darren Claytons hit a dirt clod, that tore his hood off, including his stacks and filters from the injection during the feature. Surely that plowed field could have been prepped better for a meaningful race. We should be thankful we don't have to foot the repair bills for the carnage seen tonight.

Definitely a little rough. Probably should've cancelled with all the rain they had.

The worst surface I have ever seen at the Big "E". I was impressed by the size of the gonads of the drivers that they would actually race in that plowed pasture, the ability of the cars to generally handle impossible conditions, and the poor eyesight of the track announcer who praised the track prep crew. Which way was he facing?

Very expensive night to be a car owner. Cars were porpoising and plowing into the track surface sending clods and body parts flying. The rear ends were dancing like the front wheels usually do.

Unbelievable that they would race at a speed track in that condition. Thank God that no one was seriously hurt. Made me think of Nader's book "Unsafe At Any Speed".

I dont even have the words to describe how bad the surface was. I think that the only way you can put it into words is FIRE LARRY KEMP!!!!!! how many more chances will they give him to screw up. I used to love racing at Eldora in my sprint car winged or non wing, but I will not go and destroy my stuff just trying to push off for hot laps. Tony if you are listening please do something, I talked with a lot of your staff and racers last night and nobody thinks that Kemp needs another chance. Just give us fans back the Eldora we all love.

That's what we were talking about last night. Maybe it will make a difference since Tony will have some extra bills fixing his own car.
