I was told 5 or so from Ohio if things don't change, like the weather and car being ready. I won't name any names as that just leaves you open for complaints. We would never say Sammy Swindell is coming like another promotor told us in our area, that is just wrong in my book. The Queens Royale will be good as the show about every week has been good. Hopefully no bad weather comes near Farmington or Jacksonville this weekend.

Kaley Gharst will be at the Sprint Invaders sanctioned show in Iowa Saturday night
The ASCS national tour is at Wheatland
I still believe that the Queen's race needs to become an ASCS show in the future. World of Outlaws to expensive and they don't have enough stands to hold all the people. ASCS would bring 40 cars plus our regulars could run with them

then your regulars would have to get 360 motors instead of 410's.

i could see wimmer showing up and maybe two or three other drivers from ohio but the outlaws are at eldora and between the promoter running drivers off and ascs ,ira, and sprint invaders just to name a few running that night i dout there will be very many cars. maybe a couple from knoxville but i dout it. plus i could see the promoter cutting the purse again if car count isnt what he wanted. most of the big guns from last year told me they wouldnt come back unless there was a promoter change!or a chang in the format. the invert was retarted he penalized the fast quailifyers! and also i am glad they are gonna quailify but its still a joke when the track wont run transponders and they have some fat promoter with a stop watch.boy thats gonna be accurate. i personaly will go to a ira show over this dog and pony show called the queens royal. take some lessons from mister sinclair! thank your drivers for showing up, pay some tow money, and quit trying to ruin farmington!!!! sorry for all my bitchin but if you wanna stop all the bs run transponders and race radios and qualify weekly. nobody wants to draw a freekin pill! just my to cents !
and no ascs we need to keep the 410's alive!

sorry dont mean to offend anyone on here but i grew up at that track and it went from being a great sprint car track where in the 90's we had 35 to 40 cars on a weekly show and big named guys would show up. and now they get 14 to 20 sprints on a weekly show and run 4 other classes of taxi cabs. now i know the economy is bad but the purse hasnt changed in 20 years! and the cars and motors have doubled in price.I realy hope that we can get the track back to what it once was, but to do that you need a promoter that will take care of its drivers. in my opinion a track is like a child you gotta keep feeding it so it will grow and stay alive. and with that i mean they need to do updates like transponders, scoreboard, and then do some promoting!!!! get sponsors for the heats and dash go back to qualifying weekly the key is to keep the drivers happy so more out of town guys will show up.
if the drivers show up then the fans will too. sorry if i am just rambling on but i am scared to see what the future holds for this track.

I've been to the last few Jacksonville, Farmington races and have yet to be disappointed. You can get on here to stir the crap if you want, but I'll be heading to Jacksonville on Fri., then on to Farmington for Sat. I kinda like the open shows and no sanctions for these 2 races, something a little different. I'm sure the IRA show will be good, but this weekend the 2 open shows get my money. Hopefully the weather works out for both nights. Leaving out Friday morning, see you at the track.

I attend several tracks every year and from what I've seen the above comments are just way out of line. I was happy with every show I saw this year at Farmington.Every A main kept me on the edge of my seat. The track was very racey each night. Shows seemed well run and timely. I think I saw car counts from 18 to 28. With that said I see very little connection between car counts and the quality of any show.As well I find it odd that people can manage to find all these bad shows to attend and whine about. I've yet attended a bad show anywhere this year.

Yep, IRA races are usually pretty good. It that a standard IRA purse up there? I saw where Goldesberry is running Jacksonville Friday and Wilmot Saturday

It's obvious you don't like Farmington but i'm not going to let you say things that are not true.First off.who and how have drivers been ran off??? Inverting? Gosh there seems to be a big Sprint series that does that.Who was the big guns that told you that they wouldn't be back because of the format ?? I watched the time in process last year personally and they must of had the stop watches hidden. All i saw was a time in clock that worked very well.it also was working very well last weekend.Again i personally saw it.I personally gave out flyers at Benton Racetrack for the queen's royal you are referring to that the purse was cut.It very plainly said that the payout would fluxuate according to how many cars we had.I gave one to every driver that was at Benton.THERE WAS NO PAY CUT!! Transponders would be neat.I'm not sure the cost to racers or the track. If there has been a problem with lining the cars back up,i wasn't aware of it. I can't wait for the DOG and PONY show. They normally are extremely good shows.Every track i'm familiar with had fewer cars this year.I pray all tracks and respectful series have a better one next year.

If the queens race became an ASCS national race a lot of FANS/drivers would attend due to there being more payout + tow $ & better cars...we are always looking for new tracks/events to attend but why go to farmington when all the big boys will be in wheatland

That's were you are wrong. I like the track just not the promoter. As far as the invert goes what I was meaning by that was that inverting six in the heats was stupid. And the cutting the purse thing I was refering to the summer nationals show he tryed to have a couple years ago. and the stopwatch thing was my attempt at sarcasim. And as far as the big guns that won't be back I won't name any names but let's just say nobody is gonna pass up eldora or Ira shows or weatland to come to Farmington. Realy don't think changing the date for the queens help car count. Didn't meen to step on any toes I just thought i should say my opinion before it was to late and the track goes down hill anymore.

I think the promoter would be nuts to go ascs and piss off the locals with 410s. That show may have 40 cars but his weekly show would go in the toilet. If he ran ascs weekly then the national thing might be nice. Build more stands and have the big boys come if its a 410 track

I stand corrected. It was that one attempt at a summer national.Who won that thing ??I don't have a clue.Sometimes someone reading this might take the sarcasm serious and not race or attend. I think we ought to stand behind our tracks and promoters as long as they are not hurting racing.Fans and drivers have a choice where to go.I don't want them making that decision on bad info or sarcasm.

The fact is Probst can't keep his mouth shut and I know why he hates our promotor also. It was their problem and they blamed the promotor. Plus I hate to bring it up but Daddy Probst gave me one of his winning trophies, what's that worth to him these days as he cost me thousands.
