As long as the weather looks clear, I hope to make the 4 hr trek to New Richmond on Saturday for the 10th annual Richert Memorial Race at Cedar Lake Speedway. Anybody got any ideas on what non-IRA teams will be there? Usually can expect Tatnell, Heskin, Richert, Jr., Winters, and Dobmier. Others I was thinking possibly also would be A. McCarl, Jeffery, Robby Wolfgang, Logan, Herrera? Anyone else? Just hope the weather is good! Can't wait!

Last year was my first at Superior, and that is one kick-a@@ track. About the only HIGH bank track I've been able to get to, and I loved it.
So Danny Heskin is going out in a 410. Does that mean that Davey won't be there?? I was really looking forward to seeing him at both tracks. Best wishes to Danny.
I'm thinking T-Mac may be at both tracks. Can't remember if A-Mac graduated high school last spring or not. If he did, I wouldn't be too suprised to see him there as well. I'd really like to see a few other Kville regulars show up this year.
Don't forget, the Richert Memorial night is an all sprint show with 360 and 410 running,.

Danny plans on making his 410 debut in Rhys and Pam Layton's 19 car this weekend at Superior WI. Then Saturday to Richert Memorial. He drove their 360 car at the Jackson nationals. After placing second in the heat. His night was cut short when a nose wing came off another car and made contact with his top wing.

This is the best race of the year. You will have the opportunity to meet very many nice drivers including Brooke, Jerry, Travis Whitney, etc. Got a chance to meet Ray Evernham, Robby and Doug Wolfgang as well. The weather will be perfect... Highs 70-75.

I love that the forecast keeps getting better as the race gets closer! This is a great race for any race fan to go to. For the hardcore sprint fans, it is a REALLY GREAT race! Been to the last 7 JRMs and every year I can't wait to get there and see who's in the pit area. This will be one of the most solid fields of cars you will see all year. Usually around 35 cars, but the depth of the field is what separates this race from the others. The best guys from Knoxville, The IRA, the Dakotas, and a few other surprise invaders never disappoint. I'm hoping for a heavy surface on Saturday night, cause this is one of those places that separates the men from the boys! 3/8 mile with sub-11 second laps is what I'm talkin' about! Don't miss it! Just wish I had the time to hit Superior too!

Amy, so glad to hear he's arrived. You were right when you said you would be two weeks early! Hope he's being a good baby. Look forward to meeting him Sat. if he's awake! Best of luck to Brooke and Sonny Sat.

maggie011 - usually there is a Cedar Lake (regular saturday night program) live update thread over on the 20/20 late model page. Hopefully it will be up on saturday.
tda - I have a cool 2010 shot of B. Kristan I can send you to update your pic!
last year's JR Memorial was a good one, and the IRA at Superior has always been quality. Strongly urge you all to get out to the IRA's northern swing.

The announcer Chris Stepan does the text updates on "the 40" but with the Northern Nationals running the Late Model portion of their show that same night don't expect Stepan to be at CLS. They have been having some trouble with their internet connection as of late and I believe Justin Zoch will be announcing tomorrow night. Maybe we can talk GRP into posting some results on the 40 for the benefit of those not in attendance, he spends the night in the scoring tower. I'll mention it to him tomorrow before the races.
