I don't know why, but there was a lot of carnage at Knoxville last night.

The winner of the 360 feature made a comment to the effect that it was too bad about all the equipment that got tore up, except for the #54 car, who he "didn't give a shit about".

Sorry. I re-edited that immediately afterward. It was the 54 car.

Guess I was still thinking about Bill Utz' misfortune when I typed that.

Didn't he drive the 54 car in 09 or 08? Must not have been a happy parting of ways!

Yeah .... me ..personally??? could care less .....it went out over the p.a. and the media links too ... so if you had any kids say around age 12 down?? could be a problem...

Should the Raceway reprimand the 4 car driver ??? an interesting thought ...that will be yea or nayed no matter what the track decides.

Also this driver might want to think .... none of the teams (yes, he only mentioned the 54 directly) that were involved in last nights 'Back to School Demo Derby Classic' (in both classes I might add) ...had a dad (note: 'had' ....that is past tense as far as his position goes) who could use this position at a well known and respected Knoxville business to 'extort' various sprint car parts sources and builders .... for free or almost free stuff for his kid.

Jon has never had any class.

People sitting in the suite with me asked me if it was his dad running for County Supervisor.

When I told him that he was, they told me that he just lost their vote because of Jon's comments.

First time at K-Ville, what a great experience from the greetings from the lady parking cars to the visits with fans, car owners etc. after the races. But did wonder what that comment was about? Also a comment about the track being too wet?

Can somebody just come out and say what was said? Don't give me numbers and other BS, be upfront.

Not A good guy to buy used parts, either. Took his dad to straighten out a problem!

I will try ...something like

'Yeah .. there was a lot of crashing tonight and they tore some stuff up ..I felt something ...and my back bumper is bent ..I feel bad (smirk...smirk...) for those guys...except for the 54 ...I don't give a sh!t

Now ... that can almost be interpreted two ways ... we took it as a slam against the 54 ...but it could have been the opposite, and he was glad for all the other drivers got tore up EXCEPT for the 54.

I personally know him and his crew. I am currently a 305 driver at Knoxville and he has helped me out a ton. I probably wouldn't be on the track if it wasn't for the 4 crew. I couldn't thank Agan Motorsports, Luke, and Cory enough for all the help I have recieved at the track and at the shop. That includes labor and a good price on parts. I would like to congratuate Agan on the two feature wins this week and hope the best of luck to him next week at Knoxville.

Maybe this is why a lot of drivers give generic, vanilla interviews anymore. They show some personality or fire and get ripped on these effin' message boards for it. The very little I know about these two drivers tells me that something happened between them a few years ago. At one time they were very good friends, sharing a booth at the Sioux Falls swap meet and one staying at the other's house for the weekend. What happened is not any of my business and I aim to keep it that way.

You nailed that one to the wall ! Dead on .

Jon is the golden spoon boy with the attitude to match .If it wasn't for all the free stuff / he wouldn't be on the track .

How dare he use free stuff I think we should throw the bum out.

We have plenty of 360s anyway so we don't need him or his car.

Make a list of the drivers that own all their car and have never taken anything for free.

I don't think that list will be very long.

I hope he can get it UN nailed off the wall so he can race next week.

Sounds like most of you go to hear him talk I go to see him race and he does that pretty good

Yes, he did break a very importnat rule in racing.

You NEVER take a free part from any supplier.

Shame on him. To the Cappi-house with him! Wink
