The "Mopar Million" at Eldora paid Jac Haudenschild $200k for winning the nonwing event.

The Eldora Million Late Model race paid 1 million to the winner Donnie Moran

I would love to see a complete prize money breakdown for each driver. Not having the time to do this myself I'll understand if I don't get to see one. I know Davey Heskin made 24K which ain't too bad!

2.5 Million in total revenue? And what is the total payout? Just a guess.

Revenue is the key word...

Electric, Water, Gas, Payroll, Payroll Taxes, Property Taxes (the Raceway is not tax exempt), insurance, mortgage payments (to my knowledge, the raceway pays for everything in full when they build, so luckily they shouldn't have one of these), etc..

Total Revenue has nothing to do with total profit.

Some companies take in Billions of Dollars in Revenue every year, yet are lucky to keep the doors open as they don't turn a profit, they just offset expenses.

Oh thats what they do on this board, complain about tracks not staying open, then about how tracks make too much money. Drivers that leave because they cant make money, then about drivers who make too much money. Not enough cars/owners, then owners with too much money. These people are a bunch of jealous cry babies. It's sad really.

Sean,

Tucson

Absolutely right Sean!

Oh, and for those who think the track "pocketed" (profited) the difference between the total revenue and purse payout...do you honestly think the purse is the only expense incurred putting on an event like this? LOL Come on people. Let's engage the brains.

Great week. Great event. Absolutely awesome racing. Thanks Knoxville and keep up the good work.
