2.5 Million in total revenue? And what is the total payout? Just a guess.

$1.0 million is the total payout. If they do have 2.5 in total revenue then that will make up for the rest of the year being a struggle to turn a profit. Why does this seem like someone bitching like always? If you enjoy Knoxville 410 racing including the Nationals and want it to continue don't question it because they have to do what they can!

Oh thats what they do on this board, complain about tracks not staying open, then about how tracks make too much money. Drivers that leave because they cant make money, then about drivers who make too much money. Not enough cars/owners, then owners with too much money. These people are a bunch of jealous cry babies. It's sad really.

According to another thread, the scramble money was spread out equally among the competitors in the respective races.....

Here's a novel thought .... the track might have pocketed $1.5 million according to some ... call me greedy ...call me ticked ....even call me collect .... but I hope Knoxville Raceway pocketed $3 million or more for the 4 nights.

Large time and huge dollar investments should be rewarded with as much 'pocketing' as they can stuff ....the tix prices vs. the racing show provided ... was and is ...... still a great bargain imho.

Noone gave them anything and they put on a big show. go back to your trailer, get some food stamps get a couple of beers and rejoice that you live in America where we take care of your sorry Ass even though you suck.

Is the Nationals the biggest payout to win in any dirt track race? I know it goes up every year($150,000 to win this year) but was just wondering if that was the biggest purse to win in both sprint car and late model racing? I know The Dream in Late Model racing pays $100,000 to win and they have several other races that pay at least $30,000 to win or more (The World 100, Topless 100, North/South 100, Show-Me 100, etc.) but I dont think they eclipse over the $100,000 to win. Plus, is is true the 360 Knoxville Nationals only pays $10,000 to win?? Thats pretty sad...the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock pay more than that.

Only thing i dont like is Saturday nights A pays the same 16-22. Other than that the purse is awesome.

Hawker- Wow that was an awesome show. Glad i got to see it. Jac made me about $15, betting with people i sat by. First track i had been to other than Knoxville and Osky.
