Just saw a story on Fox25 news. Seems as if part of the ceiling came down inside the arena. The news had O'Toole on saying the engineers determined that it was an isolated event and that it was safe. Although, they have the section roped off where the ceiling came down.

I am jsut reporting a story. I am not saying anything more.

We all want to say something, but it seems we've all been graced into silence (with a little bitterness).

And that, is all I can say.

If that was going to fall out of the ceiling, at least it didn't happen back in March during the State High School Basketball Tournament.

That is the time when that Building is the most crowded.

Yes , They would have blamed the roof caving in on all the vibration caused by all the noise from The Speedway.

Or the methane gases from the farting horses?

There is so much material here to work with, but alas, I agreed to tone it down to the wife.

Well, if it's in disrepair, there is, obviously, only one course of action. Close it immediately and tear it down. We'll miss you, Big House, but precedent is precedent.
