I thought i read where sammy and kevin swindell was going down under for some racing. I do not see winter and forbrook staying together if they do not do some traveling. To expensive is to much of a reason to use during this time. It will be a reason to keep from spending to much money on diesel fuel, hotels etc.

I wouldn't say that just expense alone is the reason. More like not money well spent. First race together for driver, crew, and crew chief, first race of the season, first race of the season against the highest level of competition that exists, and first race on Goodyears. I understand that you have to do it sooner or later but maybe towing to Vegas to do it isn't the smartest choice...then again, is sprint car racing even the slightest bit smart from a financial standpoint?
I don't know what exactly their plan is but if they can go to K-ville every Saturday and be competitive and go to Huset's on Sunday where they will most certainly be in contention for a championship, I would think they can consider that a good season.

It's to bad the Vegas show is only one day. Fred Rahmer and Daryn Pittman's teams must have plenty of money as they will be towing all the way to Vegas as well as TMAC and Herrera.

USAC--forget em. Terrible purses, poor car counts, years of mismanagement, their best days were a long time ago. Won't have a problem getting a ticket sitting wherever you want though. As far as Vegas, been there for WoO shows the 4 or 5 years they ran on the same weekend as the NHRA. The evenings were very cold, or should say wind blowing into the stands cold. If no wind, you'll be ok, but the car counts were always a little disappointing at Vegas compared to nearly all other WoO shows. Heck of a nice place.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

My bad, I talked to someone second hand and didn't confirm what I had heard. I cannot blame them for not wanting to travel toVegas for a 1 day show.

I would guess ANY of the Posse teams going to Vegas would hang around for the following weekend at Tulare.

You'll be bored silly after the first 1 hour of the Napscar race. Racing radios an absolute must to own or rent for a napscar race and even with em, man, they just keep going around and around, cars on every hundred yards of the track, and if there are minimal yellows, even with the nascar 'yellows' for debris/tightening field so it looks like better racing, it still comes down to "when is this thing going to end". But, it is a big big event. Each Nascar race is a huge event. The people, the vendors, celebrities, mdse trailers by the dozens and dozens, but you'll have more fun at the sprint car race. The place is easy to get too and out of and wow, what a racing complex! Wish I were there. Better to be a little bored at a Cup race than bored where I am.

Actually there were a few Cali drivers; Jerry Wise Jr. and Anthony Simone. Hopefully we will see a few more at Tulare. The issue is there are not that many 410 teams left .. .the entire state is going 360's ... both wing & non-wing. It will only be a matter of time before Chico and the GSC changes to 360's.

I know Simone doesn't run GSC and no idea who Wise is.
I can remember when a number of "our cars" went to Vegas. No big deal anymore!
