Steve Kinser's son Kurt will be wrestling live tonight (Friday) in the 157 lb. class as Indiana University takes on Wisconsin on the Big Ten Network starting at 8 PM Eastern time. It will be rebroadcast again tonight at 11 PM Eastern. Kurt's record is 17-3 for the season so far.

Wow. There is no doubt that he is Steve's son. He man-handled that guy. I thought he was going to squeeze that poor kid's head off. Good interview as well. You can tell his daddy raised him right. I wish he'd grow a mustache though....

Pretty cool stuff, though I don't know all that much about college wrestling. A very quick descision for Kurt. Man he sure looks like the old man.

Years ago,they used to stage a benefit softball game on the diamond at Knoxville.The drivers that were not too busy working on their cars all came out and played in the game as did their families.There were two small boys that walked out on the field with their arms around each other's shoulders,buddy style.Their names were Kurt Kinser and Kevin Swindell and they were around 7 or 8 years old.
Watching Kurt wrestle and pin his opponent so decisively was as pleasurable as watching Kevin win the Chili Bowl.Both winners and both good at what they do.
