I must agree, cant passem run through them, for Christs sake you had 200 horse power on him. I hope your Dad and all your freinds are real proud of you, you would have thought it paid $10,000 to win. Oh well you got to live with it, I just hate to spend my money watching chickenshit moves like that to earn a couple of$ more.

you guys shouldn't drink so much...Taylor chopped Williams of the lap before the contact..Williams was even with him at the flagstand and Taylor tried to chop him off again going into one-causing the contact..look at the Jackslash video..Nice race Cody and Austin..one/two finish...I actually saw Rip smile...he has every reason to be proud

Unfortunately, I wasn't there. But I did take Race88's advice and watch the Jackslash video. The way I understand it, if a guy gets all the way up next to ya, you gotta give him room to race. What I saw was the 7 car turning down on the 44. No foul by Cody. He had nowhere to go but over the 7's hood. Which he did quite nicely. JMO

Taylor claimed the bottom way before hand, moved up a little for a better entry gave up the line to Williams. It was just retarted that he never lifted over Taylor.... not good, thats were the idotcy comes in.

I agree, Cody was trying to push Taylor off the bottom., hell he's got a 410. Try the top. The contact might not been avoidable, but when you stand on the gas on top of somebody else You just don't give a f--k.

Claimed the bottom? Did he file the claim with the proper authorities? Cody got underneath him. I thought that was racing. As for staying on the gas. Call it idocy, but it got him out of the incident and on to the win. If the 7 car had stayed in the throttle he might have won the race. It wasn't pretty, but I'm just sayin'. Once again, JMO.

True. Both Cody Williams and Greg Taylor were racing hard for the win. We can sit here and say Cody ran him over but what I saw is both drivers could have avoided the incident. Greg Taylor could have gave Cody a little room because clearly Cody was under him at the Start/Finish line and Cody could have avoided it by going to the top groove and trying to get around him that way. Either way us saying Cody ran him over isnt going to change the result of the race. Congratulations to "Cadillac" Cody Williams on his first of many victories to come. Also awesome run by little brother Austin as thats who I was pulling for.

Was it the cleanest thing I've ever seen? Not really. Can I find fault in what the 44 car did? Not really. The 7 car kept missing the middle and off turn 4. When the 44 car got up next to the 7, the 7 didn't give any room and they got together. The argument that one or the other should have gone to the top is asinine as they both used the bottom to get to the front. This isn't NASCAR blockcar racing and it is racing, not following. Really, this was pretty much inevitable as soon as the 7 car couldn't hold the bottom off 4 and the 44 could get alongside. If someone opens the door, you aren't going to go in the house through the window so you can't fault the 44. If the bottom is what got you to the front, you aren't just going to hand it over without a fight, a fight the 7 car lost.

On a track like that, I'd say the extra weight of the 360 hurts more than the horsepower difference.

I agree to a certain extint, the aluminum motor is going to have an edge over the steel motor, my point is that Cody williams is young and fast, he doesen't need to run that hard for $1000 to win, for Christs sake they are trying to turn this track into a good Sprint car track but real sprint car fans arent going to go for this over aggressive driving, this is not how sprint car fans are, this kind of shit is what you expect from stock cars, not sprintcars. I personally want to see this track become a premeire track for sprintcars cause I dont think Perris is going to last that much longer. Their schedule gets smaller each year, any way it is water under the bridge its done , its over and we all wait for the 2010 openers. See ya
