I applaud Lawton Speedway for teching cars. Last Saturday night they made the Limiteds and Factory Stocks pull their intake manifolds. And guess what they DQed one in each class. I wish SFS would take notice and do better at teching cars

I really find it amazing that its not about racing anymore. Everyone would rather the number one point leader be knocked out in a fluke deal and lose points, rather than really race them and beat them fair and square. This isnt the pros people, have you even asked these two that got teched what the problem was? Because the techs will tell you yes it was illegal, but it does not alter the car to run fast enough to make a difference on a track like this. So for those that these guys beat, they beat you fair and square, they didnt have big suped up motors, or illegal business. It was something small that most likely if they had someone else building a motor for them, they would have never known. Who wants the best racers to be knocked out for a measly trophy? I hope they both come back and spank everyone on the track, with the car being completly legal! Who wants to race if there isnt a good competition????

Hey rules are rules. I would love to have port and polished heads on my car but the rules says its a no no so I don't do it. As far as not knowing that they had it on there cars then you got an issue with your motor builder. I hate for them to lose all there points but once again rules are rules and I applaud Lawton Speedway for enforcing those rule. I hope they come back and win with a legal motor. The points doesn't bother me one way or another as I am not running for points

Very true, I believe you should be punished and the motor issue with the maker is also very true. It just sounded as if you applauded and you were not surprised that the drivers ,whom were teched, were found illegal. I hate that they had to lose all points over something this small, but rules are rules you are correct! Im a stickler for rules, just not bad sportsmanship!!! Sorry bout that

No I wasn't trying to be a smartass. In fact I was getting on Statefair Speedway for not teching things that should be teched. As you noticed I didn't mention any names

I wasnt saying you were being a smart ass. I was apologizing for assuming that! Its not important who got dqd, Im not defending anyone at all, just thought it was horrible that people want to win by others being knocked out! But oh well I totally understand what you are saying and I agree with you. Its good that they did tech them, I believe its the first time they had anything like that all year! I do apologize and understand fully what you are saying. And Im glad you dont mention names or numbers, I mean they will find out Im sure next week, but it wasnt said here!
