It is SPRINT CAR TIME Chowchilla Speedway!

The Chowchilla Speedway is proud to present the first winged sprint
car race under Kenny Shepherd's Short Track Management
Company. "This is the first of what will be many major sprint car race
events to come at the Chowchilla Speedway, we are very excited
with the caliber of the sprint car teams that have committed to our
Wright One Winged Sprint Car Series this year, and we look forward
to bringing major league sprint car action back to this part of the
Valley" Kenny Shepherd.

This huge night of racing will also feature round four of the Western
Modifieds with their three wide brand of racing. Forty-five different
drivers have competed in the first three races for the Western
Modifieds this year, and the drivers are sure to race as hard as ever
in an attempt to win the $1,200.00 first place money paid for this
Western Modified race.

The under card includes the Valley Sportsman and the ever
entertaining 4-Bangers. Pit gates open at 3:00pm, grandstands at
5:00pm, with the racing action starting about 6:00pm.

All tickets prices have been dropped from the original price of $20 to
$15 for adults thanks

it sounds like you are expecting quite a show. who has commited to you and how many others do you expect? what kind of purse do you expect there to be for the 360's and what can the top 3 cars expect to recieve? very little info has been released on this so i am just wondering.

if you want to attract norcal cars you need to publish the payout and what it will cost to get in the pits.

the format is good to know also, that way there are no surprises after you tow there.

well its friday,earth to daveyboy.

Hey Moose,

If it's any help, we were there last month for the 1st Spec Sprint race- pit passes were $50, and payout info was all based on car count. I'd try calling Kenny Shepherd-his phone # is listed on the Chow site

same here with respect to them getting the info out. they sent me an email, wanted me to call for info. too much cloak and dagger stuff for me. wtf happened to "just the facts ma'm"? will we have to call to find out what happened over there? i guess i could have called and maybe found out what was up, but then i might have posted it and that is obviously something they didn't want lol!
