My grandpa, Lanny Edwards, completed triple bypass surgery today. All went as planned. He is recovering in the ICU at Memorial Hospital in Lawton. He is not out of the woods yet. He still has a long recovery ahead of him.
We would like to thank everyone for the phone calls, thoughts, and prayers. Please continue to pray for our family during his recovery.

If I were to count the 5 most important people for making me a race fan, Lanny Edwards would be on that list for sure. I hardly ever get to go to Lawton anymore, but it is still my all time favorite track. I will always consider myself a "Lawton guy" in regards to home tracks.
The Satterwhite family wishes him well with a speedy recovery.

After having Woody only in his 3rd week of recovery regarding Bypass Surgery, we are learning the true meaning of "patience."
Best wishes to Lanny and family during this trying time and we wish him a speedy recovery.
