It was a really great night tonight for Round 2 of the GLR Investments 360 Series at Watsonville, California's Ocean Speedway. Although the track dried out in qualifying, it provided great action the rest of the night. Once the sun went down it came back just enough. Jason Statler and Cory Elliason raced for the lead from the start with Statler holding on for the win over Bud Kaeding.
One red flag for a tangle between Brad Furr and Wes Gutierrez at the beginning of the A-Main, and then three yellows for spins slowed the A-Main, but the 30-lapper got in under the curfew.
The heat races went wire to wire as BK, Steve Osborne and Justin Sanders won took home victories. Evan Suggs, who was quick time in qualifying at 12.207 finished 4th in his heat and transferred to the A.
Anthony Simone won the B Main over Luke Dollansky and Keith Day. Espinoza was a DNS.
