Stinger Chassis has been sold, new owner
Rob Soloman, a third generation racer and fabricator out of the Bosie Idaho area.
The shop will contiue to operate out of Hanford Ca. while new quarters are looked for.
Phone numbers are the same, a more formal announcement will follow once shop has been relocated in Fresno area.
Stinger can supply you with any parts you might need and will focus on a state of the art light weight standard chassis.

I think it is cool to hear from people running strong in locally built non-winged sprint cars. I am excited to switch from a 2007 Maxim to a new Stinger sometime in the near future (2009?). We are new to the sport of sprint car racing, and would never have taken the risk without the help of Rob Solomon and Stinger Chassis. Good luck to Stinger Chassis in 2009! We can't wait to see how the non-wing and winged cars work in 2009!

I hope Stinger continues to grow and support the sport, I hope Rob is successful and I can say that the Kittles (always damn fast) and many others have won races and championships with Stinger Chassis. Their list is long...
I look forward to their continued support of not just the Bandit Sprint Car Series but the VRA, USAC and all of the others they help keep on the track.
They are a local CA.(Hanford-Fresno area) company and repair a great deal of chassis' including other makes. Their service makes them a tremendously valuable asset to the race community and worthy of support. They are centrally located between SoCal and NorCal in the heart of Bandito Country. Without Rob and Stinger the sprint car community would be deminished.
If I can make another comment, not only does Stinger do chassis' for the great Sheridan/Manhire Kittle Motorsports team, as well as brag on all of their customers wins over the years but all of the countless "little guys" who have been successfully serviced and helped by Stinger Chassis over the years.
From what I have been told Rob is doing is carrying on and building upon everything that has been good with Stinger. There are already satisfied customers telling me good things about them.
Support those who support the sport in the many and various ways. For me, Stinger ranks right up there with the other great and reputable suppliers that are supporting this and other race car series. They aren't a sponsor of the Bandit Series but in many ways do support what we love to do.

Tripcrwn,
We're thinking about non-wing stuff in the valley and maybe winged shows at Watsonville. Sorry to reply so late. I went back to work this week.

Stinger Chassis Serial # 001. This is the first Stinger Chassis built , it's a 100"er (Super Modfied) built in the mid to late 80's for driver Richard Harvey Jr. by Richard Sr. and ran at State Fair Speedway in Oklahoma City with pretty good success
The photo was taken at the Darryll Starbird Annual Car Show in OKC. The trophy is for 1st place in show.
