Hey everyone! It's that time of the year again that I love so much! Chili Bowl season! ; ) And yes, we will be having the bean bag tournament. Here is the info:
When: Friday, Jan. 16th
Time: 10am sign ups with play immediately to follow when bracket is full. We must have the games completed by 2pm when they clear out the track for entry to the race that night. (Get there on time! Last year we filled up the bracket in 10 minutes!)
What: The bean bag toss game. We will be playing double elimination.
Who: Anyone can play, but you must be there to get in the bracket.
Where: At the top of the ramp leading down to the front stretch next to the Chili Bowl merchandise trailer
How much: $10 entry fee
Why you ask?: It's a great way to catch up with old friends, meet new and last year we even had some drivers playing! Plus a portion of the money will be donated to charity! You have a chance to win up to $100 each!
- A portion of the money will be donated to charity. (to be determined by all players)
- Mike Sweeton (chili bowl announcer) will be announcing play by play! He always has a great time with everyone and makes it fun! He will be announcing the winners at the races on Friday night too!
- Trophies by Duane Davis will be awarded to the winning team along with top prize money
- Cash prizes to the top 3 teams and special prizes to the 4th and 5th
- The first losers out will also get trophies by Duane Davis (they are super cool too!)
- Every person will get a prize donated by vendors, drivers, etc. thanks to Racin Stacie and Esther

There have only been two....2 time defending Chili bowl beanbag champions an Iam one of them an you short one are the other.So its time to settle it for good! Im ready are you?....an Sweeton please remind the LITTLE BUCKEYE that at least half of the champions team for the past 5 yrs have come from NEBRASKA!!!!!!!!

A Humper vs. Stubb showdown... the wheels are turning in this feeble little mind. Oh well, we will just have to see how it turns out since they draw for teams. Glad that Mrs. Stubb will be there with her companion in tow. Don't worry Humper I have been keeping notes and will make sure that stat makes it into the announcements during the day.
IB, what gives, missing AGAIN this year? You have to work on this.

Damn work....I had my tickets bought and everything because I thought it was going to work out but they went and scheduled a track meet a week earlier than usual....pisses me off.....I'll get back there someday.....enjoy the CB without me.....again.
