I think Baylor will beat OSU next year - in fact - i think baylor will beat a lot of teams - and go to a bowl game. not a great one - but one nonetheless. if baylor was in the big 12 north they would prob go 4-4 in conference play. as it is in the south - there is only 1 potential win out there for em in the south. granted if they can continue to beat A&M - and win their 3 games against the north - that would be 4-4 too.
i like baylor. they been so bad for so long - how could you not root for em to win? (xcept against OU of course).
screw all this college football BCS hub-bub - I'm ready to talk college basketball. i'm already more into that than ou football. i think OSU gets swept by Capel's bunch this year. they could be REALLY good. OSU did not look very impressive at all against UTSA. we'll know more bout OU when they go up against Stephon Curry and Davidson (provided both win their first round games - i think its the preseason nit). OSU fans should watch that game - as the postseason NIT is probably the best case scenario for your team LOL that was a good one (not really)
i'm just smack talkin lol. i'll root for osu as long as they not playing ou. oh yeah - except Baylor. i like baylor.

1 point or 39 points, It still goes down as a loss and ends all Big 12 and National Title shot hopes. So it really dosent matter in the long run.........

I believe that OU will have to play at the top of their game against the very good tech team, but it is at home so i think they OU will pull of the win since Stoops has the amazing home field record. I also believe that OU needs to be more worried about the OSU game because it is at stillwater and the cowboys have proved that they are a pretty good team this year and when OU/OSU meet they always take it to another level. But i still believe that OU is very good and will pull off the win over OSU.

i agree bout ou/osu. i think much will depend on which OSU defense shows up - the one that held mccoy/texas to 28 pts. - or the one that got lit for 56 by herrell and tech.
here's something interesting tho. and its why i think osu just may beat ou. the 3 biggest games the pokes have played this year ---- ALL 3 were on the ROAD. they beat Mizzou on the road. gave texas an epic battle. not so well against tech. i dont think the final score with tech truly illustrated that game tho. they played better and had opportunities all through the 1st half. either way. out of the 4 "big" games they play this year - the only one at home is against ou to end the season. thats not good for ou. ou expects to win 10 games every year - thats where that program is. its not the same for osu - they arent that traditional powerhouse ou is. so they will come out with a ferocity that ou probably has not seen yet this year. or at least this could be the case.
anything can happen on any given saturday (sunday too lol). there's a reason games are not played on paper. but what is known - is it will be one of the most hostile environments OU has seen in a decade or more. it aint just bedlam, pride, or braggin rights. osu is goin for 10 wins. winning that game would have such a big impact on that program. not for any other reason except ---- RECRUITING. the difference between a 9 win season - and a 10 win season - is a big one when it comes to recruiting. especially if they make a statement against the sooners. lot on the line for ou and osu these next 2 weeks...and the keyword is - especially for osu ---- recruiting. its amazing what those coaches up there have done with "less" than many other teams. you start getting the rec. classes comin to ose like ou and other powerhouse programs get -------- it really would translate into osu being a perennial contender for the south and more.

This should be the toughest game of the year so far for both teams. Even though the Longhorns beat the Sooners earlier this season. But they play it on paper. My hope is that OU will win and I don't care by how much. However, if Tech wins then I hope they go all the way and win a national championship. BOOMER SOONER baby !!!!! We'll deal with OSU next week. This week it's Tech.

all or nothing for OU. they win - they have an inside trek to the big 12 title game, and at least a BCS bid - if not a national champ. bid. they lose ------ cotton bowl would be the best they can do. with OU loss - if texas wins out - they would most likely be the 2nd team out of the big 12 in the BCS. the big 12 winner will go to bcs - and then another team that most likely would have to have 1 loss.
screw all that tho. Go OU Basketball!!!!!!!!! they just signed some big dude for next year - a 300 pound guy names Tiny Gallon. lol couldnt make that one up. Trabor said "Tiny Gallon?!!!!! wouldnt that be a quart?" lol.
Sooner Basketball rules!
anyone watch that game against Davidson? man did that not remind you of a great march madness game. ou is scary good. and Curry is the most dynamic guard in basketball.

Ok i had to come in on this one since I have three, yes three, BS degrees from OSU.
Fan12 to say Baylor will beat OSU next year is showing your lack of knowledge in football. Yes, Baylor is an improved team under their QB but they have to find some defense to match the QB play. Although Briles is a good coach he is a more of a O coach than he is a D coach. Baylor will be a bowl team next year but they are not anywhere neat the level of OSU yet. OSU is returning much of their starters from this year next year. Russel Okung a projected top 15 draft pick for the NFL draft could be back next year at OT. We already have commited to OSU a son of a former OL from OU. Next week will be a heack of a ball game either way.
We will see how good OSU is next week when they goto Orlando to play in the Old Spice classic. OSU plays Gonzaga on Thurs night and either Maryland or Michigan on Friday night all on the Espn family of channels. OSU has a kid on their team that OU kinda looked at by the name of Keiton Paige from Pawnee. He is a sharp shooter from 3 and he is not even 6 foot. By the way this past recruting class for OSU buy rivals.com was ranked the 9th best in the nation.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands
in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he
stands at times of challenge and controversy."

no joke honestly you hit it right on the head because tech's last td was with 20 second left and the 2's in...... o and by the way i was at the game and i don't know if they were showing any of the pregame on tv but when the tech players came out to the feild their flag guys came running behind them and i guess don't know how to spell in order because the flags read as TCEH... it was pretty funny
