Is Larry Woodward going to run again next year? Craig bought a few sponsors with him to the #2 car, I guess they'll be leaving with him too, does that leave the car unfunded for next year?

It pretty much means that there won't be a car #2. Woodward, the sponsors (maybe not all) and the crew (again, maybe not all) are going with Dollansky to KKR.

Woodward is NOT going with Dollansky to the KKR team....Larry is undecided as to what his plans are for 2009 at this time.

I hope Woodward's have Wayne Johnson's number. He has proven time and time again that he deserves a shot at a Outlaw ride.

After his performance at the world finals I would think it is possible.

I think Brooke deserves the shot in the #2 car. He proved a lot with the win on Friday. I would hope to think that Woodward would at least consider putting Tatnell in. I guess we won't know until Larry announces. Lol.

Brooke was in that car last year with marginal results so that may hurt his chances.....but I agree, Brooke should be out there on the WoO tour. He is to good of a driver to not be out there.

Aren't there lot's of drivers who "should be out there"? Brooke ran with that team last year with marginal results. Brooke has had great opportunities especially with the 8 team. I hear Lucas Wolfe may be losing his sponsorship what about him? There is a kid with tons of talent and hasn't really had his shot yet. We all could name lot's of drivers we think need a shot.

I asked Craig this question at Topeka and he said Larry was looking to probably do some non-wing stuff, but that he had no plans to run WoO next year.

Last year they also had marginal funding compared to this year. Brooke should be out there. He's way too talented not to be. Face it, if you don't have huge sponsorship it's almost impossible to compete on a nightly basis with the top 5-6 teams in the outlaws.

Why was the the 2 team funded better this year? Did Mr. Woodward spend more or did Craig bring it all? How was Brookes funding with the 8 team?

Craig brought sponsors with him. That might have something to do with it. You would have to ask one of those gentlemen where the $$ came from. The 8 team was funded pretty good. The results showed. Rush Racing was 5th in owner points, and Brooke was 6th in driver points. Although he didn't win the title or anything he did put up numbers that Kraig Kinser wishes he could have claimed as his this year.

The numbers that Brooke put up that year were also during the split.

This is true. We were missing Kinser, Meyers, and the Dud. If I were lucky enough to win the powerball, I would put Brooke in the car before I'd put Lucas Wolfe in it.
