Is this sarcasm, or are you being serious?  You don't actually think 10,000 viewers is great, do you?   This works fine for events with large crowds.  But if that is all they're getting at some of these races that are 1/3 full, and people think Flo is sharing revenue from streaming, there is no revenue if you're getting 10,000 viewers.  

Flo income is not affected by how many tune into an event. If anything their revenue sharing would go up and cost them more if more tuned in for a specific event. Flo income is based on subscription sales. Nobody has to watch anything for them to make money.

We all know that.  (at least I think everyone should)  However, isn't it a reflection of how many people subscribed to Flo specifically for sprint car racing?

So let's play this out.  Over the past few years, there has been some observations made that some HL shows have not had good crowds outside of hotbed areas, especially on weekdays.  There was "Well the streaming revenue is what matters" or "they'll come to some sort of agreement with the revenue generated from streaming and share with the tracks/promoters." 

So I ask, how can Flo justify sharing streaming revenue with a venue that generates 10,000 viewers?  Pretty easy answer---they can't.  And won't.  

Do we know how the advertising revenue works?  Is is possible that that the revenue is tied to the number of streams for an event, and not a flat rate per ad? These days with people making big bucks off of website clicks i could see that happening.   Everyone talks about subscriptions but I suspect ad revenue is a big piece of the pie.  I notice more ads from companies like Chick-Fil-A and Proctor Gamble which I assume pay better than ads from say, ARP or Winters.

I forget the numbers and no clue if they are accurate but I thought Dirtrackr facebook said 65k streams for Tusky and 200k plus for World 100. 

All I can tell you is that 4 years ago the IRA got $1,600 a night from Flo Racing.

$800 for the track, and $800 split 30 ways for $26.66 each winged driver?  Or maybe they did a raffle drawing and gave 3 lucky drivers a right rear for the night.  Either way, this will definitely make up for those thin crowds.......................

i didn't ask how it got divided up. I was under the assumption it was point fund money but I could be 100% wrong.

I was being sarcastic, but thanks for the info.  Might as well give them all key chains if they're just dividing $1600.
