Alright, I will say it. It may be an unpopular opinion, but Brad Sweet should be the next driver fired due to lack of performance. He looks horrible lately and they changed everything else and even shut down the 9 to focus all efforts on the 49 so it must be him. Perhaps he has too much on his mind, but Kasey needs to be thinking about this once he has his franchise secured. Lots of talent available out there! Can you imagine if this really happens??!!

Kahne and Sweet are both broke, they may both drop out of racing completely!

You guys are funny. Sweet has 3 H-L wins and 1 WoO win so far this year. He is second in H-L points right now. There are about 500 other winged sprint car racers who wish they were doing that well. Even if you don't like him or what he's doing with H-L, the idea of him gettingbooted out of the 49 is rather quaint.

There may be 500 others who would like his stats but when this year's stats suck compared to previous years it's still a decline in performance. That said there is no shame in decline after phenomenal seasons.

He's not the only one having a 'decline in performance" compared to years past.... Schatz, Haudenschild, Schuchart, etc...

True enough. Perhaps we need to consider there are only so many races to win each season. New young drivers have been winning lots. Someone from the near past has to give way wins for those new guys to collect which obviously reduces their own number.
